Already start it...It will be wise to give this a religious flavor...as British used to say Afghan(Pashtuns) have religious fever---if you think the mullah that were aliened and humiliated by Punjabis will forgive them then you are mistaken....bring them together and play the card right.
what did I just read? satire?

"Umar Daud Khattak is a warrior and mission commander of Pashtunishtan Liberation Army fighting against the illegal occupation of Pakistan from past many years. Team Charticle had an interview with him in Kabul, Afghanistan."

    8. You are fighting for a cause, you are fighting for your people, you are a role model for many young pashtuns but in real life who is your role model, whom do you idealize?
My role model is the current Indian Prime Minister, his Excellency, Shri Narendra Modi.

    9. What are your views on India as a nation?

India has been the South Asian economic, political, social and military giant power which has everlasting influence on the other South Asian countries. The current rising Nationalism in India is a signal towards salvation of not only the current day India but the larger South Asia (which include Afghanistan lol) from the immensely growing Islamic extremism and terrorism. India serves as the saviour nation of all the South Asian countries from the Islamic Hooligans backed by Pakistan today and this has been because of the Bharatiya nationalist government in the centre. Secularism in India is not suitable and India cannot experience real secularism given the immensely different socio-political order it has and hence only Nationalism can work towards building a strong Bharat in terms of economy, national security, society, politics and diplomacy, and military. The shift from secular India towards Nationalist India is a great change in indian politics which has threatened the islamists and terrorists' infiltration and freehand in India under different political patronages of the other rivalling and opposing parties. We as Pashtuns, Balochs, Sindhis and Gilgit Baltistanis feel that its only nationalist India which can give us salvation from the epicentre of Islamic Jihad–Pakistan.

    lmao afghanis

only god can help you with this piece of "propaganda"

The point is this thug war over Durand is being played by our enemy with well-defined agenda and purpose..like it or not we have to select a side...either we stand for our rights, identity and culture and fight for it or we will get squash using Islam as tool. I honestly don’t think it can get worst then this…we already have hit rock bottom. The good news is the world politics are in our favor now. Pakistan no longer serves the purpose it was built for by the outgoing British colonialists. It is now a complete liability that screams to be neutered either with or without Pakistani Military’s connivance. Instead of selecting another wait and watch…lets actively work for our interest.
What I meant by redifining the line is to change the meaning we give to this so called line in our lieterature, media and day to day usage. Instead of saying Durand Line,.we could use alternative pashto words like "de dostai karkha".
I am also advocating that we stand for our rights and both Lar aw Bar should come together to make sure sure we get our rights in our respective countries. Empty slogans although true don't serve any purpose. Real life practical steps such as student exchanges, linking our educational institutions and working on a common Pashto curriculum are steps we should work towards. We can hold monthly webinars between universities to exchange views etc. All practical steps which will ultimately bring us closer.
You say that both sides know we are Pashtuns, well that is true in most cases but there are people in Pakhtunkhwa who believe pashtuns in Afghanistan have all become persianised and the only true pashtuns are those who support the Taliban and the Pasntuns in Afghanistan are powerless and under non pashtun rule. They are fooled by the pakistani propaganda that pashtuns in Afghanistan need to be libeated from Northern Alliance tyranny. I.watched a video where a bunch of pashtuns from a pakistani madrassa were captured by Northern Alliance and they were shiocked to.find that Northern Alliance soldiers were praying, they were told by their madrassa teacher that all non pashtuns were kafir and they had come to defend pashtun muslims against these kafirs.

Similarly, there are large number of Pashtuns in Afghanistan who believe Pashtuns in Pakistan have all become desified and speak Urdu and are under the rule of Punjabis and somehow are waiting for Pasntuns of Afghanistan to liberate them which is completely false. The Pashtuns in Afghanistan sometime fail to undrestand that Pashtuns in Pakistan find no contradiction between being Pashtun and Pakistani and pashtuns in Afghanistan are quite surprised when they see see fellow pashtuns in Pakistan being proud Pakistani. This is because Pashtuns in Pakistan are taught a completely different version of history in Pakistan thn those in Afghanistan. So there is clearly a gap and it is becoming wider by the day.

This is good thing, I have yet to meet single afghani muhajir who didn't speak urdu. Urdu spoken by half decent literate person sound like poetry.

Personally I find Urdu sounds girly and feminine, and men who Grew up speaking urdu tend to have higher pitched/feminine-esque voices.

That isn't to say I don't enjoy some good Qawwals in Urdu, but I only understand the parts that are that are Farsi influenced., which is more familiar to me due to me all the "mujhe bujhe" stuff goes over my head.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Ofcourse learning new languages is a good thing, no one denies that. Most Pashtuns in Afghanistan are bilingual and some even speak 3 or 4 languages. I can speak 4 languages myself including Urdu/Hindi which means I can enjoy all the great Indo/Pak culture has to offer.

Having said that, it should not come at the expense of forgetting your own mother tongue. Every ethnic group should preserve their language/culture. It is like the spice of the world, imagine if we all spoke English or Arabic? imagine if you went to China and the only food was Burger King? how boring would that be. I am sure you being a Punjabi yourself know the beauty of Punjabi which can't be found in Urdu or English.

Some people think that in order create a sense of nationhood, there must be one language to bring everyone together and other languages are deliberately suppressed for this to happen. This is a failure on our part if we can't live together and appreciate our differences and the beauty in our uniqueness. It shows how primitive our world view is. When an imported language like Urdu which has nothing to do with any of the ethnic groups in Pakistan is promoted as the national language at the expense of regional languages, we see how it destroys local language/culture. How many Punjabis/Pashtuns can read and write in their own language? Some people say a language is just a tool for communication, well that is not true. Each language carries the story of the nation behind it. Anyone who has studies linguistics knows this.

If not for urdu then official language of this region would have been Farsi, another foreign tongue as was the case till British toke over and replaced it with urdu. One official language is very important in any country. Indians have english to communicate with people of other regions with in India while Pakistan choose urdu.

As people move to cities they will start to adopt urdu/english and dari/farsi in both countries.

Let’s for sake of argument say I agree with what you say...the question is how is it even possible when Punjabis are calling the shoot in Pakistan? It took 60+ years to just change NWFP names...there are active Pashtuns parties that are preaching for integration of FATA into Pakhtunkhwa yet the same parties are barred from FATA by Islamabad…how are we be able to promote our culture and unity when swords of “Kafir” and “Ghadar” are in our neck?
I believe the recent Drama over Torkham gate and the trenches that is being built in and around Durand(although in some area there is discrepancies between area Pakistan controls and that of actual Durand line map.) is meant to protect the economical interest of Punjab….keeping CharBahar port in mind. Just as the CPEC route was changed to eastern one in favor of Punjab. The tribes inhabitant in and around Durand are actively engaged in trade which Punjabs calls smuggling. Its simple economics, the division of Pashtuns from Afghanistan made Pashtun inefficient and in order to compensate we have entered into what’s called a diseconomy of scale which creates the need to compensate for the deficiencies, often through “illegal” activities. A good example of this lack of synergy is the production of electricity in NWFP/FATA; most Pashtuns in Pakistan do not get sufficient electricity despite the fact that production effects their infrastructure and environment. In other words Pashtuns are paying more for the few resources while these facilities are based on Pashtun lands which affect the surroundings which mean it hurts Pashtuns. Pakhtunkhaw gets pennies for production of electricity and infrastructural use which goes to supply and accommodate Punjab…. WAPDA refused to pay up to $3 billion it owed … few years ago WAPDA agreed to pay just $ 900 million while even that to has not be paid so far. What makes you think Pakhtuns of Pakhtunkhaw will be allowed to have “student exchanges, linking our educational institutions and working on a common Pashto curriculum” with Afghanistan? They are opposing Pashtu to even be thought in Pakhtunkhaw.

It's a shame Pakistani regime (Punjabi) is forcing a forreign language like Urdu down the throat of all ethnicties which had nothing to do with Urdu. In fact Farsi (Dari) was the language of this region for 1000s of years, since this language penetrated deeply the South Asian subcontinent due to the influence of the Achaemenid Empire which reached as far as North of India, and thus Farsi (Dari) is more a native language to Pakistan, even Punjab region (which ironically is Farsi word itself) than Urdu ever will be.

Pashtuns in Pakistan should be allowed to speak, write and learn in Pashto, Same with Pakistani Baloch people with their Balochi language, Sindhi people Sindhi language, Punjabi people Punjabi language.

Pakistan should follow Afghanistan example. In Afghanistan no one is forced to speak or learn one certain language. Dari and Pashto are both considered official languages and are both thought in all schools accross the nation, thus most Afghans can speak both Pashto and Farsi equally good when they graduate the elementary school system. Even minority groups such as the Balochs, Pashayis, etc. are not enforced to abandon their own languages (TV news report the news even in Balochi language, which make a tiny amount of speakers of Afghanistan population, this shows Afghanistan respect all of its native languages, unlike a certain country which enforces a forreign language on all of the inhabitants lool), but most Afghans speak Farsi/Dari since it's more convient and also makes things easier in relations with the neighbors in Iran, Tajikistan, etc. (also most Pashtuns and non-Dari mother tongue speakers don't feel any ''dislike'' towards Farsi/Dari, since Afghanistan and much of Pakistan as far as Punjab for most of history have been included and important centers in all of the Persian dynasties/empires, thus Farsi is not seen as a ''foreign'' language by anyone in Afghanistan, even the Iranians were thought to speak Farsi by the Tajiks after the Arabs had conquered them and had made them Arabized/arabic speaking)

For Pakistan to enforce the non Indic populations to become Desified/Indianized and abandon their own cultures and languages, and speak an Indic language/ Indian culture is a big mistake, and will in the end collapse this weak fake nation built on something as useless as religion. So far the Baloch seem to be tired of and want independance. No Baloch in Afghanistan wants independancy or want to join with Pakistani Balochs.

Even most Punjabis are growing tired of the Pakistani regime. The Pashtuns of Pakistan are largely fooled by ''Islamic brotherhoodness'' to be Pro-Pakistan.

Pakistan is a failed state built on unstable ground (religion of Islam) trying to bind together vastly different peoples with no common culture, language, etc. and it's only a question of time before all ethnicities will seek independancy, even the Punjabis.

typical ignorant afghani, FATA doesn't produce any electricity worth mentioning. FATA instead get electricity free of cost which rest of Pakistan pays. Main dam in KPK producing electricity Tarbela is in Hazara region and hindko people are crying for separate province because they think pashtuns are eating their resources. BTW dams are not build out of thin air, big ones are Federal projects. Provinces where dams are build get royalties every year.

No one is forcing them to speak urdu, it's up to them what they want. Every province can chose which language they want in schools. Pathans are pragmatic and opportunistic people like every other Pakistani out there, they know what is best for them. When Bhutto asked nationalist ANP leader if he wanted pashto or urdu in KPK schools, he replied urdu.

Afghanistan is failed and about to disintegrate, Pakistan is here to stay. You sound like hypocrite tajik considering dari have already replaced pashto in all but rural majority pashtun areas. Tajiks don't speak pashto unless Ferdousi was lying. They don't have to because their native tongue is by default official language.

As far as urdu being foreign indic language from UP. Well it's like when mongols in Afghanistan started to speak farsi. It didn't change their blood and history even though they may identify as persians now days because of self hate issues. Farsi was official/court language of this region before British toke over, doesn't change the fact it was foreign as well.

This proves my point, Federal Gov is run by Punjab..so whatever the local Pashtun and Baloch produce is contributed to Punjab because they have a greater population. Which puts the Sarhad Pashtoonistan region into greater diseconomy of scale because there is a lack of synergy. This is why Punjabi party like Muslim leage are pushing for creation of Hazara province...even when majority of people in "Hazara region" are Pashtuns....Hindko people only reside in cities...they still make majority in Peshawar--itself a Hindko city before invasion arrival of Pashtuns...although they are Pashtunized and speak Pashto as first language now. The same way there are some Pashtuns that have been Hinkdoized but they are still proud of their Pashtun blood. Bottom line is Pashtun are being screwed left and right...i honestly don't know how long we can take this...there need to be a solution and fast for this miseries.

Firdousi I believe is wrong though. I know my parents and other elders whom all had graduated in Afghanistan can speak both Dari and Pashto equally good. It's certainly no lie. You can check wikipedia for proof, it clearly states:

                          Official languages

The Mughals/Mongols despite being conquerors and rulers of half of the world adopted Dari as their language, and went to great lengths to promote it as far as deep into South Asia, it tells you something about the language. Dari is a very sophisticated and beautiful language. Even many Indian languages to this day are heavily influenced by it, even Urdu. So no in this sense it can be argued that dari/farsi is a natural language even for Punjab. Pakistan could've built great relations with both it neighbours India and Afghanistan, but instead it has created enemies on both sides. Pakistan is officially considered a failed state:

Afghanistan may be considered a failed state in some levels, but it will not disintegrate anytime soon, I wouldn't get my hopes high. When it didn't disintegrate during Taliban rule, then I don't see how it will disintegrate anytime soon, in fact US invasion and Pakistani regime enemity has made Afghans more united than ever before.

Afghanistan certainly cannot be argued to not be a failed state in some level, but still it's relatively less failed than Pakistan, who can boast WMDs but is at the same time one of the most backward nations on the surface of the planet, basically being training ground of terrorists. Pakistani regime spearheaded by Musharaf was hiding Osama bin Laden and kept him well fed not too far from its capital. That's what a failed state is my friend.

Which part proves your point? lol Hindko people are most serious about getting new province, they only vote someone who promise them new province. Even PTI promised them new province to get votes. And dams are in Hazara division for which KPK government get royalties every year yet doesn't spend on hindko people. Hindko are being screwed over by pathans in KPK, and no they are not pathans but hindko. About some hindko being pathan origin, yes likes of Jadoon and funny thing is these same Jadoons are in for front of getting new province.

Even in Balochistan most of resources are in Baloch/Brahui areas, thought they are exaggerated like as if they are on par with Kuwait and Qatar by ignorant people like you. Currently most natural resources are being extracted from Sindh, 70% of gas&oil plus new coal power plants from Thar.

Fact is everyone knows pathans and punjabi areas have least amount of natural resources unlike Azad Kashmiris, hindko, Gilgitis, sindhis and Baloch areas. Though huge discovery of shale&oil gas in punjab may change this in in near future.

Afghanistan should be compared with congo or somalia, not Pakistan. You guys don't even have hospitals, trains, roads, schools, universities etc. Using Pakistan hatred to unite will not last, look how Pakistan screwed Afghanistan till this day for simple mistake of claiming our lands. If you want to continue on same path then most welcome.

I know mongloid people like tajik, hazaras etc in Afghanistan adopted Farsi, that's was my point that it would be yet another foreign language anyway like urdu/enlish so what's the difference. English at least is international language. And about you speaking pashto, good for you but Pakistan will not make pashto official on national level. Pathans can teach pashto to their kids, no one is stopping them.

Every province can chose what they want but even they can't force minorties to adopt any language. Sindhis can't force Karachi people who are 90% non sindhis learn sindhi. Pathans in KPK can't force hindko to learn pashto in schools. Baloch can't force Balochistan pathans to adopt Balochi. Pakistanis live in harmoney and peace unlike afghani savages, force is last thing in anyone mind. That's why I don't get these stupid randu afghanis crying about punjabis forcing urdu on pathans, ignorants.

lmao Somalia is a far more advanced country than Pakistan my friend, this is your great WMD having ''superpower'' Pakistan:

lmao u guys are poorer and less progressed than even a war plagued Afghanistan, yet u have the nerves to talk bad.

But Afghans will conquer Pakistan my friend, you just wait. Afghanistan getting stronger someday and will stand on its own legs, and then Pakistan will be shred into several pieces, if it does not fall by itself until then. lol
