It is because over the past 60 years Pakistan conveniently nurtured in Pashton Nationalism place an Islamic Nationalism, which defied geographic boundaries among Muslims. This way, they entered an alliance with the old Pashtun yearning for unity with their brethren in Afghanistan, while keeping the rest of Pakistan intact…very cleaver poly but it is still susceptible to re-raise of Pashtun nationalism. I would predicate...if statue quo continue there will be rebirth of Pashtunistan movement----maybe with Islamic flavor. Pashtunistan movement was never about joining Afghanistan, in fact Kabul has never favored it either...even Bachah khan wanted a independent Pashtunistan state---this is the reason for boycott of NWFP referendum in 1947. Loy Afghanistan is more emotional outburst of some Afghan nationalist in west...and off-course it is used by Pakistani military to justify her Afghan policy---during Musharf's rule there were v under banner of "Loy Afghanistan" set up by ISI to discredit ANP gov of NWFP and justify the covert/overt support of Taliban.

You know very well that Poonjabis can't do **** on their own. Even from the time of Sikhs Poonjabis couldn't effectively defend their own land. You uneducated haramkhor goat raping *******s used British-made weapons against Afghans, and then look at what the British did to you goat rapists. It's no wonder that Porkistan ranks #1 in searches for pig, donkey, dog, cat, horse, cow, goat, animal, snake, monkey, elephant and bear intercourse. It's disgusting to see how ignorant you are in the face of facts. Zia ulHaq even said that without Afghans defending against Soviets, Porkistan wouldn't exist. Your people are so weak it isn't even funny.

--Porkistan plays dirty politics always. Porkistan is surrounded on all sides by hostile countries (maybe excluding China). Porkistan's foreign policy has failed badly. I just went to defence.pk and that's definitely the place for you. Go over there and spew **** from your rectum over there. While you're at it, you can talk about your culture (hijra prostitutes, hera mandi, zoophilia etc) over there.

Why you prove to be haramkhor again and again? Didn't Pakistanis take you in as refugee? Didn't ISI train muslims from all over the world especially Pakistan to fight Soviets? Didn't ISI train afghani taliban? Why you deny historical facts half breed fake pathan who can't even speak pashto.

Without Pakistanis generosity you will be dead and buried. We only take India seriously somewhat when it comes to war. Afghanistan lol first you need to go back and liberate your country under occupation. It's hard to find more beghairat user even on PF.

Brother Bacha wanted to join India, there was no option of Afghanistan. You can't have it both ways. Paki pathans never once raised for independence, they could have done it soon after 1947. Since "Pakistan" didn't yet brainwash them as you say.

Afghanis should men up and accept the fact their ancestors ****ed up. See UK voted out of UE, there is no going back now. Similarly Afghanis signed not once but 10 times Durrand line treaty just to receive some British rupees. Clearly they didn't care about anything else so why cry now?

Even Afghanistan border with Iran was drawn by British empire.

Also I wouldn't want Pakistanis to rule over me. See if Loy Afghanistan ever happened then afghanis will suffer in the hands of ex-Pakistanis who will be by default dominant players. Capital will shift to Peshawar in instant. Think carefully and with clear mind what you want.

Bacha khan wanted the third option...independent Pashtunistan...which to this day is supported by Kabul gov. You should educated yourself about Faqir of IP and his declaration of independent..which was never recognized by Kabul---amazingly the ruler of Kabul has always put a knife in back of Pashtuns of so called FATA. Although before departure of British Kabul did lobbed and ask for reunion.
British vote today proves the opposite of what you suggest...evolve identity is more lasting and important then artificial imposed one.

Wait you are not a Pakistani? Historically Peshawar was winter capital of Afghanistan...check it out.

Samandari have done some research and it seem like some current day ANP walas on twitter make fool out of Afghans. Bacha Khan never wanted Loy pashtunistan. He wanted to join India or NWFP be autonomous region with in India.

But pashtuns didn't like his idea and voted for independent Pakistan. Afghanistan was never option since afghanis multiple times signed durrand line treaty with British in exchange of rupees.

FATA people were also happy with Pakistan as long as they were left alone and only British laws of then were applied instead of Pakistani ones in future. The same laws which now people in Pakistan are seriously thinking of getting rid of and integrating FATA in to mainstream Pakistan.

Remember current day Afghanistan borders are drawn by British empire, you can't have it both ways. Without British Afghanistan will only consist of green areas in this map

But with all due respect, places like FATA--you know that by and large they are very autonomous and like to keep to themselves or people from places like Chaman or Quetta proudly label themselves Afghans, just as a few examples of many. Now my question to you is why you are so adamant about keeping somewhere like FATA for instance? They are culturally, ethnically Afghan and regionally adjacent to Afghan borders--they logically identify more with Afghans due to the very close proximity and great amount of contact with Afghans. If that were not the case, you wouldn't have had so much conflict and unrest there this past decade. Your army has been pretty vicious against these territories as well, even violating concepts of human rights. So again the question that naturally arises is-- why do you want them so bad especially if they are so troublesome and riddled in conflict and uprisings, which your army has been trying to quell for a long time now? Don't get me wrong because I am not one of those blind ethno-centric patriots, but I am just genuinely curious.
The conflict with TTP had nothing to do with with Loy Afghanistan. Ask your self why Pakistani pathans don't want to join Afghanistan and neither care if border is fenced and movement of people controlled.

I have yet to see anyone seriously raise the issue from this side. Remember everyone from F.C forces on border to average worker on Torkham gates are all Paki pathans. They all can't possibly be ISI agents. Maybe the ship has sailed and now Afghans instead of claiming Pakistan lands should look to maintain cultural and tribal link? It's not like Pakistan will prevent intermarriages, cultural contact etc

Afghanistan constant interference on border is the reason now Afghans need visa to cross border.

It did not have to do with loy Afghanistan per se--but it may have very well had to do with clashing lifestyles and/or identities. I completely agree with you about the rest though. And it is most logical as Afghanistan's government is too corrupt and weak to ensure even the well-being of its own citizens, let alone any others. If I was a Pakistani Pashtun, I too would be indifferent at the very least. And I don't put it past that certain segment of Afghans interfering in Pakistani affairs. That certain segment who would blame even their lactose intolerance on the ISI, and who constantly want to stir trouble.

I was beginning to grow doubts as well. He is probably another inferiority-complexed Tajik who can't find anything better to do with his time. They are known for masquerading as other ethnicities. There are even forum members who fit this description.

TTP main target were neighbour pashtuns and after that other Pakistanis. They wanted to impose their own version of Islam where ever they could.

Not sure how Afghans want Pakistan to just hand over land? Maybe there should be referendum UK style. There was quite a bit of controversy recently when Pakistan army on their own handed over control border checkpost Angor Ada to Afghanistan army.
