And also Qatar, Iran etc Doesn't mean anything. At most Pakistan wanted "friendly" government in Kabul. One which will not claim our lands, start stupid clashes on behalf of India. So Pakistan don't need to deploy army on western border. See last week border skirmish was stupid as it gets, Afghanis didn't stop Pakistan from building the gate yet many lives were lost over nothing.

But now Pakistan have realized best way to do that is to secure the border with army, fence it and build gates. Visa requirement for any afghani wanting to cross border. Cancel all illegal Pakistani identity cards Afghanis got over the years and deport them. Make FATA province or merge it with KPK.

Don't get me wrong, I don't buy into Afghan Nationalist rhetoric, I find Afghan Nationalists have incredibly juvenile mentality, and never believe they're responsible. However, so do Pakistani Nationalists; Mansoor's existence in Pakistan is evidence of Pakistan's interest in influencing Afghanistan. Maybe Iran or Qatar is involved too....but the point is Pakistan is also actively trying to steer Afghanistan in its own ways.

There's no need to be intellectually dishonest.

Even Pervaiz Hoodbhoy, Pakistani Intellectual, and probably one of the most sane voices in Pakistan, calls Pakistani government out.....

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

If it was up to me I would line up every member of taliban and kill them one by one. But it's impossible to know who is who. So best option is to deport every afghani. Taliban are sole responsible for 99% of terrorism in Pakistan, these no name jhangvi shangvi parties you named are at best islamist types.

Building fence on border, gates and deporting afghanis is in effect proof of that so called myth of 5th column sound even more ridiculous by day.
You are retarded. Where were you when Mansoor was killed?

When President Ashraf Ghani came to Pakistan and met with Chief of Army Raheel Sharif and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, he expressed the desire for Pakistan to put into play the reconciliation process with the Taliban, however there is still immense distrust between us and them. We cannot ignore at this point, that the whole world points their finger us for housing the Haqqani Network, the Quetta Shura etc. Therefore, to blame Afghanistan for terrorism would be wrong. The reality is that Pakistan was the first country to recognise the Taliban, Pakistan also trained the Mujahideen and the Taliban to fight against the Soviet Union. If you were to ask the Afghans what they think about the Pakistanis then unfortunately you will find that they do not like us Pakistanis at all. The Pakistanis who go to Kabul tell me, "if we tell them we are Indians they love us but if we tell them we are Pakistanis they view us with suspicion". This isn't just about our current governments, we need to look at our relationship from a historical perspective. After all, we had a strategic doctrine, the one which we still refer to as 'strategic depth' i.e. roughly translating to invading and controlling Afghanistan for our own benefit. So I feel that when Afghans look at us with doubt and suspicion, there is some truth behind it. In order to live in peace we need to remove these suspicions pronto.
