  • Let us not fight

Whatever the two stats are doing, let us leave it to them. And the two people "Olasuna" should not fight. I mean why fight? It doesn't seem very educated. Just a little suggestion.

I hope when Afghan state would assert its independence and have alternate routes via Chabahar, the Pakistani generals will have to come to terms with it and then may gain some sense to build relations on mutual trust instead of demanding friendship on their own terms.

After all we are Pashtuns and neighbours and Muslims and already are a maligned marginalized community in the world.

This is a sensible and logical post; I agree.

Let's not confuse our criticism and opposition to the tyranny of political entities with hostilities towards common people.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Never fun of fight or war and totally agree, mind you the fighting are between Punjabi state and Pashtuns not between Pashtun..for me as Afghan Pashtuns of occupied Pashtunistan are my blood and brothers not neighbors!

Lol. Not every Punjabi is going to Torkham. Stop making this about ethnicity. This is about states, like Toramana said.

Azmal I meant Muslim neighbours e.g. Tajaks, Pashtuns, Baluchis, Punjabis, and all others in the region for the sake of greater good and prosperity of the region should develop good relations with each others. I wish they could come with a system where they could live in a regionally integrated con-federal type system. It is better to float in a big ocean than a small pond.

And of course we Pashtuns are already one people.

True, but this requires the mutual cooperation of both parties. Tbh, the Punjabis are more at fault here about the torn relations between Afghan and Pakistanis.

Whats so bad about friendship on our "own terms"? Friendship is friendship.

The problems is lack of identity and absence of any national coherence of Pakistani state…which sees violent backward political Islam as the only means for keeping their synthetic nation glued together. I have said this before the underlying reason for Pakistan's support of backward, destructive Jahleen movements in Afghanistan..has nothing to do with religion or any pretence to moral virtue. Ever since early 70s Pakis conveniently nurtured in Pashtun Nationalism place an Islamic Nationalism, which defied geographic boundaries among Muslims. This way, they entered an alliance with the old Pashtun yearning for unity with their brethren in Afghanistan, while keeping the rest of Pakistan intact…the bloodshed and all the miseries we see today including the gun and drug culture as result is product of this official Pakistani agenda towards Afghanistan and India....for Pakistan see Afghanistan as extension of her India policy and see herself as successor of British Raj-brown Saheeb(we f-ed their white Saheeb and now their servents are after us---what a world lol)

The good news is the world has realized this simple fact…. Sooner then later the same Saheeb will help to break away the post-colonial, superficial, nuclear proliferating, terrorism sponsoring basked case known as “Pakistan” into smaller, manageable sub-units drifting back into “Unions” with bordering states with shared commonalities. Then, I hope we could make all state borders inconsequential by encouraging a free trade zone between India, Iran and Central Asia….with the potential to extend further into Russia and China so that they don’t feel dangerously alienated. This gona happen for the history of the world is founded on morally superior cultures hacking their way into the flesh of evil men, while liberating the enslaved along the way. Just as the Afghans deserve liberty from the murderous Pakistani mercenaries, so too will the Iranians and even the poor, downtrodden faqirs of Punjab deserve better days ahead.
