@Toramana
One of the reasons you're even here on Pashtunforums and speaking Pashto today is because your Ancestors; who are Also an Ethnicity that has its origins from Punjab.....were dominated and subjugated by Pashtun conquerors;
are you sure that's something you want to gloat about or do you have that much self hatred like that you rejoice over being subjugated by foreign invaders?
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Absolute nonsense! The actual facts are that three Pakistani posts were briefly captured on the first night of the fighting. Their tanks retreated and due robust counter attack from our border police, the fc and army deserted most of their positions. Some of officers from afghan border police who captured the posts wanted to desecrate the Paki flags but were ordered not to do so or hoist the afghan flags there. The Paki forces only returned when they asked for cease fire. Even michni post on the paki side which is kilometers away were targeted. One tank was also hit which is why the rest retreated.Originally posted by Samandri View PostAccording to news reports , Pakistani army has captured Shiraz and some other posts from Afghanistan
The level of casualty is very high on pak side. We will employ tactical weapons and particularly target the tanks inshallah.
Afghan forces are on top of the situation.Last edited by ComradePashtun; 06-14-2016, 08:43 PM.

I am not in favour of any war.And pakistan does need to go to war to bring afghanistan down.I remember during daud khans time pakistan closed the border to afghans and imposed economic sanctions which in return brought afghans economy to its knees and was one of the reasons the king zahir shah sacked daud khan and took over.Originally posted by Firdousi View PostHonestly an all out war does not benefit any of us at all. Poor people will die and suffer. In the long run we will eventually win, even with a weaker army. We have nothing to lose while Pakistan is under heavy international pressure right now. Currently we got the upper hand. Pakistan is unable to build a gate on his own soil. Thats a huge blow for them and proves how weak and isolated they are, no matter how much they brag about their nukes.
We just have to keep the current pressure. Since USA and the International Community are committed to a stable Afghanistan, Pakistan won't go too far basically because it would further deepen their isolationism. Not even China wants problems in Afghanistan basically because that would put at stack CPEC. So basically Pakis will eventually back down.
Mohammed Daoud Khan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In 1961, as a result of Daoud's policies and support to militias in areas along the Durand Line, Pakistan closed its borders with Afghanistan causing an economic crisis and greater dependence on the USSR. The USSR became Afghanistan's principal trading partner. Within a few months, the USSR had sent jet airplanes, tanks, heavy and light artillery for a heavily discounted price tag of $25 million.
In 1960, Daoud sent troops across the poorly-marked Durand Line into the Bajaur Agency of Pakistan in an attempt to manipulate events in that area and to press the Pashtunistan issue, but the Afghan forces were routed by Pakistani Tribals. During this period, the propaganda war from Afghanistan, carried on by radio, was relentless.[5]
The crisis was finally resolved with the forced resignation of Daoud Khan in March 1963 and the re-opening of the border in May. Pakistan has continued to remain suspicious of Afghan intentions and Daoud's policy has left a negative impression in the eyes of many Tajiks who felt they were being disenfranchised for the sake of Pashtun Nationalism.

True. But once Chabahar is operative, you will lose that option. You might also face some troubles as well once we seal the border to you guys and block the Central Asian market for Pakistani products.Originally posted by Samandri View PostPakistan can bring down Afghanistan to its knees without a war, by simply sealing the border for one year."For thirty years, I endured much pain and strife,

so here basically you guys are pretending that a pakhtun is more torzan compared to a punjabi (anyone fighting for Pakistan)
And the other side is thinking that they are going to conquer Afghanistan somehow.
Boys do you even know about the exact number of kids in your respective countries? Leave aside, educated/un-educated. If you don't even know the exact number of kids in your country how are you supposed to be providing them facilities like health care, food and education.
War is nothing. Who is going to loose more and who is going to loose less has nothing to do with you and me. If I have 5 rupee why should I even loose a single penny to something called war.yao warokay ghwandi baagh ao pa khwa ye seen rawan!

Good for you guys, i am not a cheerleader of Pakistani army nor of forces of your country..........but its more believable that Afghan forces will suffer more losses in conventional combat with Pakistani forces , the latter is well-organized, disciplined , and better armed......Pakistani soldiers are not "warriors", they are soldiers and will play safe and calculating, while Afghan army is a "lashkar"Originally posted by ComradePashtun View PostAbsolute nonsense! I can understand why you guys are so hyped and excited for war with Pakistan, but dont underestimate the strength of its forces. They will immediately use Air force if they faced tough battle from Afghan forcesLast edited by Samandri; 06-15-2016, 09:04 AM.

True, but chabahar route passes through southern afghanistan where taliban are strong in places like kandahar and helmand.First you need stability.

The instability is in your but up there and in the buts of many day-dreaming Pakistanis like yourself. There is no instability on the ground to the extent that will lead to the disruption of that route---besides the interests of many countries are involved in that route who will make sure the route is a success security-wise.Originally posted by asif86 View Post

By the way when did Paki army win a war-in 1948, 1965, 1971, 1998 (Kargil)? Yes it is organized but to conquer and perpetrate the massacre of its own people .Originally posted by Samandri View PostGood for you guys, i am not a cheerleader of Pakistani army nor of forces of your country..........but its more believable that Afghan forces will suffer more losses in conventional combat with Pakistani forces , the latter is well-organized, disciplined , and better armed......Pakistani soldiers are not "warriors", they are soldiers and will play safe and calculating, while Afghan army is a "lashkar"
