I don't mind if they fight against ISIS of their own free will but their situation is being exploited by the Iranian government who has promised the families of these fighters permanent visas.

Many of them have been brainwashed or they are in a weak situation where can be easily exploited by the evil Iranian regime.

But there are also many uneducated Hazaras (even few Afghan Tajiks and Pashtuns from Parachinar and Quetta in Pakistan) who are proudly joining in order to fight for their faith. Its not our war.

Who cares if they go to fight for Assad? Most of them will be killed or abandoned by Iran. They shouldnt even be living illegally in Iran in the first place so what else do these boneheads expect, that Iran is going to smile in their face and say welcome?

The real question is what will happen after Syria? What are the chances these "boneheads" will not be transferred to Afghanistan? These people have the potential to be even more dangerous then Taliban for Afghanistan.

These people hardly get any military training from Iran according to Hazara deserters and others who have talked to the media, maybe 4 or 5 weeks drill then sent straight to Syria as cannon fodder. Half of them probably cant even shoot straight. Typical Iranian human wave tactic seen in Iran Iraq war. Just send as many people to front line as possible and see what happens.

Either you have ignored the Syrian war completely or you are willfully ignorant.

Assad and Iranian backed militia rarely engage ISIS in battle. The sole objective of Russian intervention, Iranian revolutionary Guard, militias and Assad's raggedy army is the rebel west and north of Syria where various rebel forces operate. The strongholds of ISIS in the East have been ignored by them for years.

Now that ISIS is crumbling due to its own internal problems and the attacks from Kurds and Rawaafidh from Iraq, Assad and Iranians are slowly moving towards ISIS held territory.

These Hazara's are there to rob, pillage, rape and kill people in areas where there is no Isis. Most of them were captured by FSA and Jaish al Fath. Not ISIS.

How can uneducated Hazara lead a company of multi ethnic combatants of Fatimyoun? Those guys are well educated, many even revealed they were Afghan special forces and rapid reaction police forces before traveling to Syria.

The excuse of poverty and brainwashing is just to make these criminals look like victims. They don't diserve sympathy. They are just as bad as ISIS. They commit the same type of crimes. That's why they shouldn't be treated or seen in any other way.

                Exactly; they're simply cannon fodder,

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Just because they have skills when it comes to battling and fighting it does not mean they are "educated". You can be an uneducated but with good skills while at work.

Indeed they are criminals.. most of them. I have no sympathy for them either and I actually find hilarious how the Afghan media wants to portray them as some sort of poor refugees tricked by the Iranian regime. Well most of them want to got to Syria so screw them. As I have said before, its not our war. If they want to go there, fight and die its up to them and they should not expect any mercy or love from the average Afghan nor the Afghan state.

A lot of them will move towards Europe, they already did that, some Tajiks and Hazara migrated to Europe in the refugee flow of the past year. I really doubt that a lot of them will come back to Afghanistan.

I agree with you, That's why I said I don't mind if they fight ISIS (which they don't).

One of the reasons they might be fighting the other rebels instead of ISIS first is because the other rebels are much closer to the power base of Assad in the West. ISIS just controls the empty deserts in the East so other rebels pose a much greater immediate threat to Assad than ISIS.

I don't agree that Hazaras are just there to commit attrocities, some have been thoroughly brain washed by religious propaganda. They believe they are fighting to save the honour of Ahlul Bait while others are fighting for money and permanent Iranian visas.

Spa e Pasdaran was leading the war in west Kabul and there were some Iranian generals with Ahmad Shah Massod to. GW university had some declassified CIA documents in this regards...I will see if I can find it.
Iran is worse enemy then Pakistan, while Pakistan works for ultra-religious and inept government like that of Taliban in Afghanistan....Iran activity works for division of Afghanistan.

I'm not saying don't be prepared; but we should look at Iran becoming the new financers and tactical support for Taliban.
