Really, Pashtuns, for once in your miserable life, use your brains! Its not that difficult!

Some Persians consider Tajiks as their equals. Other Persians hate or ignore Tajiks. And many Persians don't even know what a Tajik is and they think Afghan means Hazara.

The only truth is here most of Pashtuns hate Iranians. Most of Iranians don't even know about Pashtuns existence. Spot the difference, losers lol

So true, I have never heard a tajik from Afghanistan claiming to be persian, they even named the language dari to diffrintiate themselfs from iranians, but this tajiks in the west are ashamed to be called Afghan, becuase Afghanistan is poor and has war. Most farsiban in the west always say they are Persian if someone asks them where they originaly are from.

LOL I bet if Afghanistan did not had war most of those retards will be claiming Pashtun ancestry just to be associated to one of the royal ruling elites, what they often did in Daud times.

You can go to Herat and tell the people that they are persian and they will bitch slap the dum out of those retarded kids like ferdousi, or better to ****dousi :P

Most Pashtuns couldn't care less about Iranians. The only people who seem to care so much are Tajiks. Not too much of a surprise there.

In our school was this one Tajik guy who claimed to be persian when people asked him where he originaly came from. So one day an new Iranian student asked him about his origins and this guy replayed him being persian like you. The Iranian guy laughed and said oke but from which part of Iran are you. And this dude sayed I am not from Iran but from Afghanistan.

The Iranian guy was quite surprised and replayed to him that he cannot be Persian. But this Tajik still claimed to be Persian becuase he spoke farsi. So the Iranian guy told hime that in Iran only 44% is persian the rest is other ethnic group, a lot of his fellow Iranian friends were actualy Azeri and they also speak farsi but are not seen as Persians. The tajiki guy was quite angry, and walked off. The Iranian guy was quite surprised by this dude, because in Iran, according to him, no Tajiks from Afghanistan claimed to be Persian and neither do other Iranians see them like that. He also told me that most Afghan immigrants always form their own groups and do not really mix with the other Iranians, or the so called "Persians".

But somehow this tajiks all love to be Persian so bad, its quite amuzing, when the motherland of Persians do not even see them like that.

Two autistic kids combined aren't any smarter, I.e. you and this Porki kid I'm replying to.
You, LoyAfghanistan, Afghanfootball and khostai are the dumbest members here. J was found in ancient Scythian and Sarmatian samples. Either way my point was that Tajiks mainly have West Eurasian haplogroups which you have not refuted. Your "predominantly Mongol" narrative has thus been debunked. And autosomally Tajiks are closer to Iranians than you would be. They remain good genetic proxies for medieval East Iranic figures like Rudaki, Avicenna, etc. Iranians always get Tajiks before Pashtuns on their oracles. Do you have PCAs (like the one I posted) or any other evidence to suggest otherwise? Now sit the **** down and shut up.

Also, don't use autism as an insult. Many people on the spectrum are quite gifted and much more intelligent than you. Others don't deserve to be mocked.

Lol you actually go to school in the west? Too bad you sound like a dumb FOB.

Many Afghan Tajiks don't like Iranians because we are mainly Sunni and they try to appropriate our history. Tajiks are ethnically Persian nonetheless and are the main reason why Persian language and culture survived in the Islamic period. Do you mock Lebanese, Syrians, Palestinians, etc. for identifying as Arab even though they are mainly Arabized?!

Most Tajiks use the term Farsi and not Dari. There is even a famous poem by Qahar Asi rejecting the name change, doofus.

Right well there's no proof of that. There's no evidence that this is anything beyond your personal opinion.

Since when? Where is the proof? I wrote this before, that there was mass migration of Persians towards Central Asia. This is a historical fact. If you were smart, you'd assume that these people who speak Persian, are those migrated individuals. But no, you're saying they're 'East Iranian' Bactrian, Sogdian, etc. When no Tajik speaks anything close to Sogdian or Bactrian, why do you keep imposing it on them?

My Tajik friend in fact has more of an issue with the phrase Tajik than with Persian. He doesn't like the word Tajik, because he prefers 'Afghan' as a unifying word for everyone in Afghanistan. However, culturally, linguistically, he is Persian. That doesn't mean he's Iranian. In fact he hates Iranians.

Yeah well that's just as stupid as when Pakistan says, if we had a war you'd bet these Afghans will be begging Pakistan not to crush us. When you can't present an argument, you resort to threats.

Though interestingly, I see that a lot of Pashtuns are offended at this idea that Tajiks should be called, or call themselves Persian? Why?

Afghan Tajiks cluster genetically with Pashtuns and not with Persians from Iran. Persians from Iran cluster with other West Asians like Turkish people. Tajiks are only often referred to as Persian because they self-identify as such. Hazaras are also Persianized but because they look too different to Iranians, they don't self-identify as Persian.

Tajiks don't differ that much in their facial features with Iranians, in comparison to Hazaras. The only real difference is the accent.

This is the average Tajik, only a bit less Mongoloid:

                        This is the average Iranian:

Yeah, you're right. They're exactly the same! (sarcasm). You probably have never been to Tajikistan, let alone Afghanistan. Especially in the rural areas, there are huge differences between Tajiks and Iranians. Only a small minority of Tajiks actually do look like Iranians.

                          • By the way Tajiks did not "name" their language Dari. Dari comes from Darbar, which was an official court dialect of Farsi, used by Central Asian principalities and kingdoms. It's like when Pashtuns call their dialects "Kandari" or "Paktiawal" or "Khostwal" . Sheeesh

                            • Honestly, I'm not sure where this notion that Tajik became popularized with the Russians came from. My dad's friends all called themselves Tajik, my dad's in his 70's.

I think people saying Tajik is a Russian popularization are just reading it off of Wikipedia with very scant evidence supporting it.

Nope in Belgium. That Tajik guy was always embarassed by his origins and so hided behind persian and what not. The same with this tajiks here, they are emberassed that they were born in Afghanistan and have created this persian ID.
