Some of the best fruits in the world come from Kandahar, don't know why you're talking about Herat in terms of that. In addition to that, Herat is a very large trade centre, in opium. Do you know how 90% of the opium get to Europe and North America? They either go north (through your Tajikistan) or west to Iran (through Herat).Originally posted by Firdousi View PostYou were in Herat? In which places?
Pyrhan tomon does not make you more or less sophisticated. This pretty BS. Every time I visite Herat I wear my pirhan tomon and my mandil. Herat has been chosen among all provinces of Afghanistan as the best one for several years. But now according Pashtuns its not our merit but from Iran lol.
Herat has the best carpets in Afghanistan, best dry fruits, it was one of the safest provinces in Afghanistan (except those districts inhabited by Pashtuns! lol), we are one of the main trade centers of Afghanistan. Unlike most of provinces we have 24/7 electricity, most of our roads are paved, streets are cleaned on a daily basis. Our province is almost opium free (except those places inhabited pashtuns, once again). Actually our saffron (which is originally from Iran I must say) has been chosen three years in a row as the best one in the world. Well.. now tell me which Pashtun province can be compared with Herat or Balkh. Its not just ethnicfascism its a matter of fact. Pashtuns are a trouble. They always have been.
BTW hilarious you asking about "development projects in Pashtun provinces". Dude every f*ckin government in Afghanistan has been pashtunist: Daud khan, Abdul Rahman khan, communists, Talibs,.. and even now Karzai and Ghani want to favor their Pashtun brothers.. thanks got they got their hands tied by those Tajik warlords. Otherwise Talibanism would be back to power once again."If a lion comes and takes your share, go get it back from the mouth of the lion"

Ghool, prove it. Actually the main route is Delaram/Zaranj, in Nimruz. Every year around 200 Iranian soldiers in Zahedan die because of criminal Pashtuns.Originally posted by Aryana View PostSome of the best fruits in the world come from Kandahar, don't know why you're talking about Herat in terms of that. Actually Pashtuns use cowardly tactics at war. I know many Afghan commandoes (one of my best friends is a commando from Charbolak, Balkh) and they always tell me how Pashtuns use bobby traps, IED´s, suicide attacks and even small children. Once a Pashtun kid in Khost threw a grenade at them. Nobody got hurt. When they captured him the kid told them that his f*cking uncle told him to attack ANA because they were "Iranian shias". Cowards.Originally posted by Win Butler View PostStop making **** up, the commies were perceived to be a Pashtun-dominated government by Tajik mujahideen. Pashtuns are not better at war, they lack the discipline and strategic foresight of Tajiks.
Tajiks from Tajikistan gallantly resisted the Soviets but did not receive help from any superpowers. The Pashtun Amanullah Khan even expelled Basmachi fighters from Afghanistan since he was cozying up to the Russians. Many great nations more accomplished than Pashtuns like Georgians, Armenians, Azeris, Chechens etc. also fell to the Soviets. Are you going to accuse Chechens of being cowardly, lol. You ****ing douche
Khalilzad recently introduced Donald Trump at his speech at a foreign policy think tank. Imagine if a Tajik did that, you idiots would be going nuts.Last edited by Firdousi; 05-04-2016, 08:38 PM."For thirty years, I endured much pain and strife,

No amount of cowardice from any ethnic group can equal Tajiks: people who offered their asses to Russians when they arrived.Originally posted by Firdousi View PostActually Pashtuns use cowardly tactics at war. Prove it, lol. Tajiks, not only are they addicted to the drugs, they also traffic it through Iran and Central Asia to the markets of Europe and North America.Originally posted by Firdousi View PostGhool, prove it. Pashtuns aren't cowards but they lack tactical Savvy when it comes to war.
The Pashtun combat methods are usually very sloppy and disorganized. They think that flailing wildly and acting like a maniac is an effective fighting strategy. They have no finesse.
tact and and strategy is what Pashtuns lack, but Bravery is certainly not.
I will say Tajiks however are more strategic, but they're very effeminate when it comes to combat, they lack boldness ...one can see this from Ahmad Shah Massoud's activities ...he sat on a mountain for the better part of a decade trying to offset a few Madrassa students .....like seriously?
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Pakistan is the largest Muslim donor to Afghanistan. More than 500$ million have been invested in Afghanistan by Pakistan in the past few years. I guess most of it in Pashtun areas near to the Pakistani border (if you were an Iranian where would you invest in? In Herat or Kandahar? Same thing works for Pakistan). What about Balkh?
Embassy of Pakistan, Kabul
Every single Afghan government has benefit Pashtuns. Yet your provinces remain least developed and unable to change.
You still fail to understand that prison tomon does not make you more or less sophisticated. What makes Heratis or Persianspsakers more sophisticated than Pashtuns is our different role models: we take pride of our culture, our poets, our wisemen,.. and so on. Pashtuns take pride of their warmongerism and violent nature. This is an undeniable fact.
Its pretty obvious Iran proximity has been very positive for Herat. You guys got Pakistan near to you too.. why do you fail to develop a positive relationship like we have done with our neighbors? Balkh got a good relationship with Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Herat got a good relationship with Turkmenistan and Iran. Why you Pashtuns can't put down your guns and do the same thing with your neighbor Pakistan??
What kind of details do you want? It seems you keep changing goal posts here. You seem to have a problem if people offer contrary accounts to yours. Look I get it, you're agenda driven here, so it affects the narrative you want to portray. By the way thanks for your link, but I see no major infrastructural projects, I just see a few things about road work and repairing a railway. Nothing major like connecting power grids to Kandahar as Iran has done with Herat
But that's ok I get it, you're side stepping my question. The Point here was to show that there's nothing more sophisticated about Tajiks of Afghanistan compared to Pashtuns. Most Tajiks are basically backwards as the rest of AfghanistanAnd I'm sorry but Balkh and those places aren't that developed, still basically a warlord death trap.
Having Poets and Philosophers as role models is not an objective measure of sophisticvation. The Pagan Arabs used to revere their poets and philosophers too. In fact one of their ancient poets is internationally renowned even among modern Academics; (Hatim Tai) however, they were still in Jahiliyah and ignorant people none the less.
Also your remark shows your complete lack of knowledge about Pashtuns and their culture. Pashtuns have an incredibly robust poetic heritage and many philosophers as well. Rahman Baba, Pir Roshan, Nazo Ana, Amir Hamza Shinwari, Khushal Khan Khattak...even Ahmad Abdali had his own book of poetry. The difference between Pashtuns and Tajiks in this regards, is that our Poets and Philosophers were Warriors too, so people revered them for all their capacities and not simply one. This isn't to take away from the accomplishments of Tajik Scholars, I myself am an admirer of Beydil, Abdul Rahman Jami and Abdullah Ansari .....as well as Nasiruddin Tusi and Al-Farabi.
However, you really need to get better informed on the stuff you rant about. You're side stepping the point of this discourse; we're not saying you shouldn't have good relations with Iran or Uzbekistan ....or at least I am not saying that.
What I am saying is that it has nothing to do with your sophistication but rather THEIR Charity and Geopolitical strategy.

All Iranics are superior to Indians and Pakistanis. Tajiks, no matter how they got conquered by Russians, never were slaves like Indians and Pakis were/are to the British/America
many Tajik have chinky eyes, but there is no shame in having chinky eyes (the women are still hot). Beside chinky eyed people conquered huge part of the world. unlike Indians and Porkistanis who got conquered and enslaved by every people on the planet, even Afghans conquered and enslaved Indians and Porkistanis before they became Porkistani.

You are taking stupidity for bravery. Pashtuns are not brave. They are just brainless. Only a brainless person would behave in that way when his life is at stack. Do your really think those suicide bombers are "brave"? No, they are just ignorant and retarded.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostPashtuns aren't cowards but they lack tactical Savvy when it comes to war.

BTW Ahmad Shah Massoud defeated URSS and fought bravely against Pakistan and his Pashtun proxies despite being outnumbered and with almost no support. Taliban won basically because they had thousands of uneducated Pashtuns from Pakistan (thousands of Pakistani soldiers in disguise too) fighting against him. Pashtuns never in their history had a leader like that. Except Hekmatyar or Mullah Omar may be lol"For thirty years, I endured much pain and strife,

Honestly dude I find cute the way you want to defend your Pashtun people truth is we don't see Tajiks, Hazaras or Turkemans blowing each other up on a daily basis. We Tajisk got many flaws and we are backward but we are working hard to change our reality. We have worked hard in the past 15 years and sooner or later we will become a better society. Nothing like this can be said about Pashtuns.
We have good neighbors and they have helped us a lot. Whats wrong with that? That proves the superiority of our culture. Our brothers across the border are helping us to rebuild our provinces. Pashtuns in Pakistan on the hand are sending you terrorism and more tribalism. You see? Thats the difference between Persiasnepakers and Pashtuns: we stand for reconstruction you stand for war. Spot the difference.
Oh, BTW, don't even dare to compara Persian cultural heritage with Pashtuns. I find it insulting. Stop it right now."For thirty years, I endured much pain and strife,

Iran is a very backward country due to decades long sanctions and scarcity of brains there. Its at the bottom in the list of third world countries. They cant spoon feed you pseudo-persians beyond a certain limit.Originally posted by Firdousi View Post

Firdousi, why so serious?. Focus on things which suits your nature and composition........i.e doing make-up, dancing for men and offering your مقعد to them.
