Taliban plea to international organizationsThe Taliban militants group in Afghanistan has made a plea to international organizations including the international human rights and International Committee of Red Cross to intervene as the Afghan government mulls hanging militants convicted to terrorist related activities.
Warning that the hanging of militants would have serious repercussions, the Taliban group said “The Islamic Emirate also calls upon international human right organizations, independent media outlets, ICRC and other free impartial committees to not remain indifferent in using their influence concerning matter of prisoner execution.”
Noting the announcement by President Ghani regarding the implementation of judiciary institutions verdicts regarding the terrorists, the group said it “will respond with everything within its power to defend its oppressed nation.”
Meanwhile, President Ghani has reportedly received a list of militants on death row, a day after deputy presidential spokesman Shah Hussain Murtazvi said the list will be provided to the President.
Murtazvi further added that the terrorists would be hanged to death once the cases have been reviewed in a bid to ensure fairness in the verdicts.
The decision to review and implement the judiciary institutions’ verdicts regarding the terror suspects was taken days after Kabul was hit by a deadly attack.
At least 64 people were killed and 347 others were wounded after a group of insurgents launched coordinated attack on VIP protection unit in Pul-e-Mahmood Khan area of the city on 19th April.

This must be the joke of the century. Taliban lecturing the rest of the world about Human Rights and prisoner rights. These animals are crazy.

I believe its time to take this war to the next level. Afghan government tried to bring them to negotiation table. But this animals believe in war, nothing else. Its time to kill every single Taliban. No prisoners. No mercy. This includes their civilian supporters too. Even if we have to kill thousands in the southern and eastern provinces and those small minority pockets in the north and west where they get all their support from. Kill them all. Genocide them.

Mujahedeens need to rearm and join ANA. Just like Shias are fighting along Iraqi forces Tajik militias need to do the same thing with ANA. Clean village after village until every single supporter of them is dead.

They have treated well those American soldiers basically because they were exchanged for Taliban prisoners. Many Afghan soldiers have been executed in the most disgusting ways: beheading, stoning, even using RPG´s and so on.

ANA should be as merciless as Taliban are. Even worse.

as far as i know ANA soldiers were freed most of the times after tribal elder interventions. there are more documented proof of that. can you prove what you are saying, since taliban commander act in a very loose fashion there may be multiple accounts of beheading, but it was never the shura decision. also the RPG case you are referring to was actually carried out by pakistani taliban when they enter their new sanctuaries in Afghanistan.
haqqani have used beheading and torture, that much i know, but haqqani are little different than the main stream taliban.

pathetic journalism by khamma, i knew talib don't whine like this. see this statement from taliban, they have threatened government and judicary with dire consequence.

"If the enemy decides to commit such a felony then the Islamic Emirate will respond with everything within its power to defend its oppressed nation. The enemy’s supposed judicial bodies could possibly once again pay a hefty price for their crimes. Mujahideen shall also not remain idle towards known individuals or unions and their workers advocating implementation of such crimes and all of them shall categorically be classified as legitimate military targets. With this action, the Kabul regime shall only provoke the sensitivities of the ordinary people and Mujahideen which shall in turn prove critically dangerous for the lives of foreign nationals and soldiers of the stooge regime being held in the prisons of Islamic Emirate from Faryab to Helmand and Badakhshan to Khost. The Islamic Emirate has always treated prisoners with utmost ease in judicial affairs in accordance with Islamic principles. If the enemy decides to follow through with its announced intent and fails to restrain itself, then our judicial bodies could also contemplate over handing ultimate penalties in accordance with Islamic principles."

Even when Taliban execute prisoner, they shot them in head or do quick beheading. On the other hand, Pakistani army officers, order their soldiers to torture the captured Taliban to death in a very gruesome manner. They dont release videos or pictures of mutilated bodies of Taliban, which means they simply do it for pleasure , blood lust, which shows their mental instability and trauma.

Taliban are criminal terrorists and should treated as one hence the afghan law should reign in on them as appropriate. In other words those which were handed death sentences then the afghan govt needs to grow pair of balls and hang them. They are not the army of another state and they have committed worse types of atrocities on afghan army and security forces.

President Ghani set to expedite executions: Afghanistan’s Ghani Expedites Executions

This is important as first it will send a clear signal to terrorists that they will be dealt with, it will ensure justice to the family and loved ones of those harmed and killed. Otherwise it is a loss of confidence in government and will sure cast away from its legitimacy in fighting these barbaric terrorists and proxies if the government wobbles in enforcing these executions. About time.

Haqqani, Hezb Islami, Shura Quetta,.. all of them are the same thing to me. We need to be merciless. For too long Karzai and Ghani have boycotted all the efforts by our National Army.

Hahahaha an Army and a state held up by 40+ nations of the world suddenly thinking it has the right to enforce the writ of "the law" when it cannot even enforce its own post election constitutional law because two fools bumbled in a competition of electioneering and thuggary? Please! The same government with the high handed humor of putting in a vodka drinking chicken banging hoodlum into some post called the "Vice Presidency"? What was the job description there?

The humor is at an all time high. Let them begin their executions loooool. Lets look back at their track record in executing people to attain justice:

Afghan executions: Ashraf Ghani urged to intervene - BBC News

Rarely has a rape case attracted this much attention in Afghanistan
Human rights groups have urged new Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to stop the execution of five convicted rapists who are due to be hanged on Wednesday.

The men were convicted of attacking four women in Paghman town who were returning from a wedding in August.

Human Rights Watch (HRW) said the trial had seen "horrendous due process violations", including lack of evidence and allegations of forced confessions.

The case sparked national outrage and huge media interest in Afghanistan.

Activists say violence against women is prevalent in the country but that cases rarely attract this much attention.

                        'Political interference'
A spokesman for the Afghan attorney-general's office told AFP news agency that the executions would be carried out on Wednesday.

"It is set to happen, unless there is a last-minute change in the decision," Atta Mohammad Noori said.

Amnesty International called on the executions to be stopped, claiming the trial was "marred by political interference".

"President Ghani should commute these and all other outstanding death sentences, and impose an immediate moratorium on all executions, as a first step towards abolition of the death penalty," Amnesty said in a statement.

Similarly, HRW urged the new president to order an independent review of the case.

"President Ghani has called for a review of Afghan's justice system, but he has an immediate opportunity to stop a grave miscarriage of justice," it said.
Ghani is a rented donkey and surrounded by technocrat rented donkeys who think that they can teach Afghans the language of "modernity" and justice yet all we know from above is that when he tries to act like a man and not the female that he was born to be, he screws it up as per above LOL.

So go ahead, execute away. Russians used to joke about how if a Caravan had any weapons on it they would assume they were "Dushmans" and just go ahead and execute the whole Caravan. Look how that turned out lol.

All Ghani will accomplish is rounding up some people, killing them, and motivating even more anger at his incompetent kleptocracy

His bravado and bluster does sound ironically similar
