Why are so many Pakistani Pashtuns proud Pakistanis rather than Pashtun first? I know there are many Pashtun nationalists that feel otherwise, but why is the majority like this? It does not make sense to be because they are treated like second class citizens in Pakistan and are dominated by Pakistani Punjabis in the political, military, and economic sphere. Shouldn't they hate Pakistan and want to ally with Afghan Pashtuns rather than Pakistani Punjabis?

But later i realized that its actually their concept and grasp of Pakistan, they dont say it out of malice.
