  • Afghan Soldiers Desert...

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/11/middle...iban-soldiers/

Despite Afghan government assurances that the army can hold and retake ground, the strategic province that hundreds of NATO troops-- who have been in the country for the last 15 years -- died fighting for is closer than ever to falling to the Taliban.

A Helmand police official, who did not want to be named for his own safety, told CNN on Sunday that the army had not made any recent advances, and at least five full districts in the province were already under full Taliban control.
The official said this included the towns of Musa Qala and Nawzad, and that an army offensive to retake the town of Khanisheen was recently repelled by the Taliban.

Death is not the only reason the Afghan army is losing troops: Desertion is rife within the ranks.
CNN met two deserters in Helmand whose stories show the breadth of the problem, who have taken their skills -- months of U.S. taxpayer-funded training -- to the Taliban.
"I did 18 months of army training and took an oath to serve this country," one deserter said. "But the situation changed. The army let us down, so we had to come to the Taliban, who treat us like guests."
The two men still had their old uniforms, army IDs, and even the bank cards they used to withdraw their official wages.
"I decided to leave the army when my dead and injured comrades lay in our base, and nobody took them to hospital. My army training is very useful now, as I am training Taliban fighters with the same knowledge."

Another man came from an area the Taliban now control to buy goods in Lashkar Gah, and described a relative calm in the town of Musa Qala now the Taliban were in control.
"The bazaar is now full of people when it used to be empty. That was because security was bad and some people avoided the government forces in it."
Still, government officials insist they will turn the fight around in Helmand in coming months.

Lol. Keep dreaming Farsibaan harami. Your home boy Amrullah and his pimp Abdullah can barely walk out of Kabul before someone would string them up much less Helmand.

50+ nations of the world and you cannot even defeat a rag tag militia with Korean war era weaponry.

Brother there is no need to get personal. As an Afghan you should know there is something called nang wa namoos. This are both highly valued by Pashtuns.

Truth is brother we need to negotiate with Taliban. They have a huge support among Pashtun rural population. But you will never win this war. Never. What have you accomplished so far? Nothing.

          Take care.

The motivation is not there. Pak soldiers believe in Pakistaniat while Afghan soldiers believe in their own kin before others. Taliban are successful in Afghanistan because they believe in something which they think it's right.

Afghani soldiers are just getting paid to do dirty work of farsis. They will not put their lifes in line. ANA is like police in Pakistan.

Valid points except for ANA. Unlike ANP they are good at their work and highly appreciated by most of Afghans. Most of Afghans support their army regardless their ethnic background.

Every other day ANA soldiers desert, now imagine if foreign support was taken away from them. Pakistan army cleared TTP areas easily because motivation was there and our soldiers believe in Pakistaniat before anything else.

What afghanis need right now is education reform to unite every kind of afghani under one banner like Pakistan have done. Now even 5 years old Pakistani from any corner is full into Pakistaniat.

Its absolutely personal when a Computer Farsiban who farts at the sight of a rural Pashtun calls in the cavalry and cheers on the murder of his people.

As an Afghan you should know there is something called nang wa namoos. This are both highly valued by Pashtuns.

Khushal Khan leveled even more personal accusations telling people they were castrated donkeys when the need was there. I am only following his good example

Truth is brother we need to negotiate with Taliban.

Negotiate what? That Ghani Pimp and Abdullah the Pervert create a kleptocratic plutocracy? Who is going to negotiate that?

They have a huge support among Pashtun rural population.

This is exactly the issue. You are attempting to hoist something at the barrell end of a gun that cannot be hoisted onto a nation. Gradual trends toward a moderate culture and religion occur over time, sometimes centuries. In the modern world it can be decades but it wont surely be with these bang hitting drunks you are deploying into Helmand.

But you will never win this war. Never. What have you accomplished so far? Nothing.

Uh, lol in your pea brain farsiban world, if holding off 40+ nations and still being able to encroach onto pretty much any part of the nation except Kabul where Ghani Pimp has pretty much sold the Green zone to Mike Tim and Steve is "never winning" then I would love to see what actual winning resembles in your mind.

Poor rural people don't need frozen yogurt stands and Pizza and burgers Afghan style like your buddies making sure that in the next decade or so they have somewhere else to call home:

We have reduced our Afghan neighbour from a Soviet Union satellite-state to a Stone age GTA, overrun by our proxies. Afghans literally eat out of our paw. Compared to Afghanistan's progress in their goal of creating Pashtunistan, I think we've accomplished something.

Its not nazism. Its the truth. Just like Punjabi army force 2 million Pashtuns to flee their homes in Waziristan in order to carry out your terrorist operation. At least you guys failed. What do you think gonna happen once this war goes full ethnic? Partition along ethnic lines. If that happens in Afghanistan same thing would happen in Pakistan: Pashtunistan and Baluchistan will finally get rid of Punjabi occupation. Its a lose-lose scenario for all of us.

Lol. Hahaha. Like I said, for a group of midgets barely able to hold a piece of land the size of rhode island in a corner pocket of the country, and still unable to neutralize Pashtuns with 50 countries doing your perverted bidding - I would venture to say that the reality would be any Pashtun who has to be around you fire jumping monkey wannabes will be more than avenged a few times over.

Assumptions, assumptions . Substance and facts can come out of so many sources. Had Amrullah merely read some sources other than his own idiot thoughts he might have been more successful instead of relying on being hollywood madame to Dana Rohrbacher.

Unfortunately for you, Pakistan is not like Afghanistan where each ethnic group is waiting to stab the other in the back, risking national unity and stability, solely for the chance to satisfy their primal and animalistic desire of drawing blood. Pashtuns have become even more patriotic than Punjabis and Khyber Pakhtunwa's development is outpacing Punjab's. I don't understand why the Pashtuns of this country would abandon Pakistan to join a war-torn hell hole like Afghanistan. What can you lot bring to the table? Warlords, hashish addicts and child molesters? Get real.
