Afghanistan, India, Iran Finalize Draft For Chabahar Agreement
    Tuesday, 12 April 2016 20:09
    Written by Mir Abed Joenda

Officials from Afghanistan, India and Iran on Monday finalized the draft Chabahar Agreement – also known as the International Transport and Transit Corridor Agreement among governments of Afghanistan, India and Iran.

According to a press release sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, Afghanistan representatives at the meeting included officials from ministries of Foreign Affairs, Commerce and Industries, Transport and Civil Aviation; Afghanistan's railway department and the Afghan Ambassador to India.

The meeting was held in New Delhi and the Afghan delegation was led by Wahidullah Waisi, the head of economic cooperation department of the Afghan Foreign Ministry.

Chabahar Port is an alternative for Afghan businessmen to import and export goods through the route instead of Karachi and other ports.

Indeed brother. We need to cooperate with our neighbors specially those who are serious, reliable and not backstabbers. India and Iran may become good friends of us.

Will this stop india and afghanistan making repeated request for giving land access to each other through Pakistan.

I am following this chabahar project since 2002-03 and the situation is still same.

                Any timeline for the project?
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I refuse to believe this biharami is even muhajir, he's real biharami decendent of Ghauri living in Canada pretending to be Paki. His relative Babur Ghauri left him behind in Biharam and moved to Karachi, guy hate him and Pakis for that.

Agreement will be signed within two months. Port its expected to be operative at the end of current Persian year. Routes have not been decided yet. Zahedan/Zaranj will be the first obvious route but I have read several articles about Afghanistan, India and Iran building railroads to Herat. This is such a exciting project.

This is a new chapter for our country. It will boost our trade potential, our regional integration and our relationship with India, Iran and Central Asian countries shall grow bigger and stronger. We will also bypass and isolate Pakistan. The less dependency on them, the better. Finally the Punjabi establishment will be 100% sandwiched.

Ghani is the first leader in Afghanistan's history who delineates Afghanistan’s foreign policy in term of economic gains (if only the band of Saqawi let him.) thus why I support him.
Here is another good news, it will make Paan chewing stinky mouth of Pakis dry…no wonder Porks will never want peace in Afghanistan!
