Nawruz falls on the first day of spring and has been celebrated in Afghanistan for more than 3,000.00 years. Nowruz brings families and friends together to celebrate the beginning of a New Year. Among the many rich traditions of celebrating Nawruz, the themes of rebirth and the pursuit of happiness and aspirations are constant.
