  • US Air Force C-130 reservists train Afghans for the first time

Did you know that the United States has deployed reservists to advise the Afghan Air Force personnel on C-130 Hercules maintenance, flight, and operation procedures? This is a major task taken by the reservists for the first time in support of Train, Advise, and Assist Command Air at Hamid Karzai International airport in Kabul. The C-130 aircrafts are supplied as part of an effort by the United States to strengthen the Afghan Air Force. The training, however, does not stop here; the instructors will also train Afghan military members in communication and language skills.
    Respectfully,
    Hashmat

A C-130 cargo plane is as simpel als those old Russian military cargo planes. Back in the 80's kids use to fly them.

Let your momma's boyfriends give Afghan airforce C-130 gunships. Let them train Afghans how to use the gunship.

It's not newsworthy to mention how a few reservists train people how to fly a cargo plane. It doesn't add any military advantage to Afghan airforce.

Americans are not giving the Afghan government the king of heavy weapons they are giving the Pakistanis. America doesn't want Afghanjstan to be a self reliant military force.
