You must understand that major Bollywood stars are simply Pashtuns or "Pathans" what ever people want to call themselves nowadays.

Anyway, I agree with you totally.

Pakis are not only Hindus, they are the original Hindus. The people that the Persians invented the word Hindu as a corruption of Sindhu (Indus) for that in Old Persian basically meant n!gger.

All you need to know about pakis summed up below.

Nothing but Hindu darkies wearing masks of inferiority complex about what they really are.

Now people no longer call you Hindu as an insult, we call you "paki" as an insult instead

Hindus are 100% better than british porkis. Because Hindustanis know who they are. Pakis are just some new breed of N!ggers like you wrote. haha typical american hybrid N!GGERS are the same!

Not sure about your people/family back home but most people have alot of pride in being pakhtoon from my experience. Yes they keep up to date with education and entertainment which happens to be in Urdu/Hindi but so what??.. i mean you yourself are not speaking in Pashto are you, you are communicating in English and i very much doubt you wear khat purduk on a daily basis, so are you 'kneelled' to the west? do you watch Hollywood movies? think about it.

The KPK province is surpassing even Punjab in social and development indicators and we have Afghans blathering on about the state of Pashtuns declining. Here's some advice. Take a look at your country where your chief of staff is a former warlord involved in the massacre and slaughter of Pashtun civilians. I know Afghans will claim that Pakistani generals do the same, but there's a difference between airstrikes and drone attacks and using militias to slaughter civilians and rape women.

Don't bother with these "Pashtun nationalists". These guys are either writhing in a mud hut in their "pure, Aryan" Afghanistan or crawling in their cramped government-funded apartment in the West. The fact that KPK is currently developing at a faster pace than Punjab fills them with rage and envy, and they resort to these BS theories to console themselves.

You will be hardpressed to find a more wretched and downtrodden people in the world than the Pashtun

The animosity between Lar and Bar Pashtuns only aggravates the Pashtun's dilemma

Language preservation is the effort to prevent languages from becoming unknown. A language is at risk of being lost when it no longer is taught to younger generations, while fluent speakers of the language (usually the elderly) die.
Language is an important part of any society, because it enables people to communicate and express themselves. When a language dies out, future generations lose a vital part of the culture that is necessary to completely understand it. This makes language a vulnerable aspect of cultural heritage, and it becomes especially important to preserve it. According to the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), from facts published in their "Atlas of Languages in Danger of Disappearing," there are an estimated 6,000 languages spoken worldwide today, and half of the world’s population speaks the eight most common.[1] More than 3,000 languages are reportedly spoken by fewer than 10,000 people each. Ethnologue, a reference work published by SIL International, has cataloged the world’s known living languages, and it estimates that 417 languages are on the verge of extinction.[2]

Reasons for language endangerment or extinction

There are different factors that can put a language in danger of becoming extinct. One is when a language is no longer being taught to the children of the community, or at least to a large number of the children. In these cases, the remaining fluent speakers of the language are generally the older members of the community, and when they pass on, the language dies out with them.
Child speakers are not enough to ensure the survival of a language however. If the children who do speak the language are relocated to another area where it is not spoken, it becomes endangered. Political and military turmoil can also endanger a language.[1] When people are forced from their homes into new lands, they may have to learn the language of the new area to adapt, and they end up losing their language. Likewise, when a country or territory is successfully invaded, the population may be forced to learn the invader's language.
A language can also become associated with a lower social class.[1] In this instance, parents will encourage their children to use the language used more often in society to distance themselves from the perceived lower class. Within one or two generations of this occurrence, the language can easily be lost.

                  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Language_preservation

This is from wikipedia. Other sources side pretty much the same, so for easy accessibility I quoted wikipedia for you.

                  Language extinction
                  - Not being taught to children
                  - Political and military turmoil
                  - Forced out of their land
                  - Association for lower class
                  - Territory invaded

If you see above points. Literally all of them occurs to Pashtuns. And for language extinction just one of them need to be occurred. Let me take each point and explain how it occur.

                  - Not being taught to children
obviously its not part of the educational system, so it is not being taught to children. Rather the entire education is done in Urdu

                  - Political and military turmoil
The most politically unstable areas are those where Pashtun lives and all the war is focused there

                  - Forced out of their land
Obviously the war is fought in Pashtun soil, forcing Pashtuns out of their land

                  - Association for lower class
Since all the education is done in Urdu. Being educated will be associated with people who speaks Urdu. Pashto speakers will be considered lower, uneducated people.

                  - Territory invaded
Territory invasion is listed due to the fact that the invading force will most likely replace the local language. This isn't that much of a problem for Pashtuns, but something else is taking this role; our countries that we live ind. Take Pakistan as an example. Since Pashtuns are part of Pakistan, anything related to Pakistan will not be considered an invading force, but the role of Pakistan is no different from invading force; especially when it comes to language. Territory invasion is on the list, because the local language is replaced by a foreign language, which is exactly what happens in Pakistan's case. The local language is replaced with Urdu.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

                    it's simple

70 % of the PAshtuns in Pakistan will preseve Pashto

                    30% will lose Pashto

the 70% will stay backward and illiterate

and the 30 % are punjabized.

How is preserving your own language makes you backward? Is that what they teach you in paki schools? Or is it that Paki Pashtuns cannot handle learning two languages and they always need to choose just one?

If Pashtu cannot be used in goverment or business outside Pashtun areas well no big deal learn Urdu, but why do you have to forget your own language for that? I dont undertand why people make it seem so hard to preseve their own identity in the region that is their own home... -_-

The state of Pakistan doesn't stop people from promoting their regional languages. What we Pakhtuns need to do is to have Pukhto as a subject atleast till grade 8. Learn how to speak, read and write it. And don't let the 'Hujra' die. That's it. And if it's not available as a subject till grade 8 we need to speak atleast. And I haven't seen a Pakhtun communicating with another Pakhtun in any other language in Pakistan.

If we could do that we will be able to preserve our language.

Don´t you think it´s better for a Pashtun from Afghanistan to clear Afghanistan´s issues than the issues of Pakistanis? You may like it or not but those Pashtuns in Pakistan are proud Pakistanis and are fully engaged in destroying and burining down Afghanistan and at the end of the day they will turn the Pashtun regions of Afghanistan into Pakistan. Just ask yourself who those ISI and army Generals and personals are who are killing and fighting our soldiers in Afghanistan or Baluch civilians. Ask yourself who are those tribal fighters that coming to Afghanistan under the mask of Islam killing our people, destroying our schools, our hospitals, our universities, preventing and discouraging our girls and sisters from school. Aren´t they all ethnic Pakistani Pashtuns defending and fighting for Pakistanyat and their Pakistani version of Islam? How many Pakistani Pashtun forums and pages do you know where Afghanistan´s ethnics are not insulted by these people? Your logic resembles the argumentation of this other guy who claimed that now after Google Translator have adoptet Pashtu the existence of this language is secured lol Let the Pakis be Pakis. But let´s start within Afghanistan an inter-ethnic cooperation for the survival of our own languages, identities and ourselves. Maybe my words will be hard for you at the moment since you are living abroad but take a minute and think about it.

A man and an idol with millions of Pakistan´s 22 million Pashtun supporters

When you and me can not change anything, it´s better to rethink our strategy and to try to remodel or reorganize ourselves that at least we can live with that situation but won´t suffer anymore from it.

Let us be realistic. Writing and reading of Pashto is almost dead in Pakistan but not speaking. Except Niazis, Jadoons, Swatis and Lodhis(some), all other Pashtun tribes are proud Pashto speakers in Pakistan.

Yes Pashto is not official language and medium of instruction like Afghanistan nowhere in Pakistan even in Pashtun dominated regions.

You will not see a single Pashto written word anywhere in Pashto speaking regions in Pakistan. This is not the fault of the government but the Pashtuns themselves. No body can stop a Pashtun shopkeeper to put a sign board on his shop in Pashto.

All Pashtun politicians in Pakistan must legislate to make Pashto as an official language as in Afghanistan in pashtun regions and make it as a medium of instruction.
