Yesterday morning around 12 o´clock, the security forces and local militias in Baghlan province could break through the defensive line of Taliban terrorists in Dand-e-Ghori district killing more than 60 terrorists and injuring dozent local and foreign fighters. A total of 450+ insurgents were killed since the beginning of the military operation in the area. The Taliban used civilian homes and gardens as protection areas and even had digged caves into the ground and hills (were destroyed either by mortar attacks or punctured air raids claiming many Taliban lifes). It is said that those Taliban who survived are on the run to Samangan, Kondoz and other neighbouring provinces. The security forces are ready to encircle the survivers.
