About 3 months ago some journalists shared their fear about the radicalisation of youth in Afghanistan by Taliban and Isis fighters and preachers. Currently there are two universities that can be called insurgent universities. One is the university of Nangarhar (Khorasan) with more than hundred of ISIS representatives working to recruite students and the other one is the university of Kandahar where around 80% of the students are non-Afghans coming from abroad (Pakistan). Two years ago one senator claimed that Taliban have influence on 15000 students in Nangarhar but no one took the guy serious. Today, Taliban in the south run several radio stations openly while ISIS is running for the last 3 weeks its own radio stations in eastern Afghanistan.

This is just another anti Pashtun guy, who is ranting against Pashtuns. There is a reason why he didn't put the source. How can one put a source that doesn't exist.Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.
People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

Universities are suppose to teach young people to think. When they arrive to undesirable conclusions by thinking and examining the status quo, they are deemed as extremists and radicals.
The truth is, a very large number of young men and women in Afghanistan refuse to accept the current regime as legitimate. They don't buy the whole democracy and nationalism crap.
They are considered as extremists and treated as a threat. They are being monitored by NDS. However, NDS doesn't see all extremists as a threat. For example, supporters of DAESH get a free pass. The government needs an alternative for the Taliban in order to preserve the current chaotic situation in Afghanistan.
Prolongation of the current instability means more funding and more support for the people in power.
So the concerns regarding radical youth are not entirely genuine. Some types of extremism and radicalization is actually encouraged by the NDS.Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. All their political knowledge is limited to conspiracy theories, political demonization and contradictions. No logic, no reason.

People who hate the goverment do not join goverment universities, kind of hypocrite to go to the university that is funded by the people you hate. However logic was never the strongest aspect of Islamic extremists.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostUniversities are suppose to teach young people to think. And by the way just by critisising and having diffrent opnion means they are using theire democartic rights like it should be. This does not mean they hate Afghanistan and will totaly go for shariah that taliban are providing. I know its hard to understand for brainwashed wahabist, but thats how healthy people minds work, normal people will never follow some political figure blindly til the end, only slaves do that. Like taliban who followed the one eyed donkey to their own destruction.
