But in the other thread you welcomed Russian cooperation with Pakistan. Russia is protecting Assad and supporting him. Russia is right now bombing Sunni Muslims in Syria. They are indiscriminately massacring them with their SU-25 frogfoot jets.

However, a majority of the people are practicing Muslims.Pakistan Army was indeed nurtured by the British in it's infancy, Just like the ANA is today being nurtured by the Americans. Pakistani Army awards the title of shaheeds to Ahmedis and Christians that died while serving. I am no scholar, but from what I understand that is not Islamic. I'm not entirely sure in regards to that. Zia-ul-Haq did try to bring Islamic reforms to the Army and nation, but even today the liberal elite dogs curse him for shutting down bars and ***** houses.

Btw, Karachi deserved every bit of that and more. No regrets.

Thank you for your honest response. We both agree on two things: the government and the army are not Islamic, but there are many practicing Muslims in Pakistan. We also agree: there is nothing Islamic about current Afghan govt and army.
