- Shamlawar Khurasani is a radical Wahabi based in the liberal Netherlands who is promoting Wahabism and extremism. On June 23 next year, from a meeting of the leaders and activists known to be the supporters of Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy at the Rose Garden of KM Das lane, Dhaka, a new political party named Awami Muslim League was formed. Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani became the President, Shamsul Haq of Tangail the Secretary while Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was made the Joint Secretary. It was the first opposition party in the then East Bengal (later renamed East Pakistan). In a process of secularization, the word- Muslim was later dropped from the name of the party.

So one of it's original founders was a Deobandi Maulana i.e. Maulana Bhashani, and it originally had title "Muslim" in it. Anyway apparently one of, if not the reason why this was done was because Bhashani felt that the racist West Pakistani establishment who in reality placed race over religion (they felt majority Bengalis were inferior so should have restricted rights) were using the "Muslim" term to demand submissiveness from east Pakistan (Bengal) in the name of a united Muslim state.

Bhashani was the disciple of the Baghdadi Pir of Lakhimpur in Assam, who advised him to journey to the Deoband seminary in Uttar Pradesh to study under Maulana Mahmudul Hassan. Anyway no one on this forum takes Wahabi monkey, Shamlawar Khurasani seriously. There are reports of young men from the west going to ISIS to fight, sometimes even crude propaganda as short Youtube videos making them want to travel to a completely different country to kill and be killed.
