This is an attempt to punish Modi for his rapprochement towards America. But I wouldn't trust Russia too much, look at how they treated Iran with the S300 deal.

Because he is an objective neutral guy in PF providing facts more than lies and propaganda. It makes dirty smelly dirty punjabos and mix raced haramis go NUTS. They can't stand truth and logical outcomes of stories. Cowards hate the truth.

Ok good, you seem to be excited.

So Russian and Pakistan resumed diplomatic relations. Cold war era has long been over if you would like to know.

Russia will sell Pakistan Mi-35. Good, Russia already has a share of 23% of the world arms market. Mi- 35 are good for difficult terrains and against insurgents, it would not in any sense supplement Pak army capability against India. They are selling these to Afghanistan too.

What happened to the 1 billion credit line then? Russia will soon face credit crunch itself, it is currently injecting $40 bln into the banking system in a bail out.

How do yo think could the Russian and Pakistani rapprochement effect the strategic environment in South Asian, if you would like get to the bottom of it?

                            Yes

From economic point of view, better trade relations will benefit Pakistan especially after the last year ban on importing food items from europe,Pakistan has explored the opportunity of exploring russian market and has been successful so far on many items

From Strategic point of view,we share similar interest in Afghanistan,if it wasn't for turkey,Pakistan would have long officially announced support for russia in syria,

Anyway this is a recent comment by deputy FM

The Russian Deputy FM Ryabkov referred to Pakistan as Russia's closest partner and said, "I do not think that the contacts under discussion will cause jealousy on the part of any of the two sides."
