Interesting to hear foreign soldiers and their take on the war and their misconceptions.

A lot of it is the ANA and ANP being completely useless, places so rural they didn't know about the invasion, beautiful scenery, and depending on the posts how they were surprised at how much Afghans either hated or liked their presence there.

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Watch your mouth, We are protecting the watan while the likes of you are sitting in US. Afghan villagers love us no matter where we go. We meet with village elders, pay respect and take some boys. If not for us, where would Afghanistan be today?

What a great thread. Amazing knowing that some Afghans believed that the Americans were returning Russian soldiers.
