Pashtun nationalists are like ugly women desperate for male attention. They are prepared to do anything to be accepted by Tajik nationalists, Americans and Europeans.

They even voted for a known mass murderer of Pashtuns as Vice President. Despite everything they still get blamed for terrorism, poverty, corruption and pretty much everything else.

Yet, despite all of this they are still willing to degrade themselves even further.

Mark my words, these pawns of Iran and Russia will capitalize on the situation, and Ghani who is already almost dead due to his bad health will be the last Pashtun leader. After Ghani there will be a very long period of Tajik and Hazara domination of Afghanistan.

And it's all thanks to your decision to side with the foreigners in order to be included in the current regime.

There haven't been any rape or any other propaganda used by the government. They indeed house searched everyone, but they haven't touched any females. Of course killings could have occurred if they found government officials, but other than that, no other atrocities have occurred. The entire Afghan government is a joke.

The biggest danger to the civilian are the air strikes and other form for undiscriminating bombardment of the city. The civilian are probably more scarred of the approaching Afghan army than anything else. In the name of Taliban they apprehend innocent Pashtuns and torture them to confessions for crimes they haven't committed. Basically what Europeans in old days did to ''witches''.

Apparently nowadays in Afghanistan, the biggest crime is to be born a Pashtun. Trust me, in a few years we will be thanking Pakistan for supporting Taliban. Musharaf may have been a selfish idiot, but he was right in one think; in one of his speech he said, the enemy of Pashtuns isn't Pakistan, but the farsiwans.

Back in the days, we said that he tried to divide Afghanistan, but guess what, 14 years later we see apparency in his word. The fact is that Pashtuns are the only one in Afghanistan who doesn't look at things from an ethnic perspective, but rather seek the national interest of the entire Afghanistan. While other ethnic groups is trying distant themselves as much from Afghanistan, and seek ONLY ethnic interest.

It is time for Pashtuns to prioritize, and stop being Afghan first, but rather seek their ethnic interest like any other ethnicity in the country and become a Pashtun first and Afghan somewhere down the line.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

            |I do believe some women were assaulted and homes were looted.

Here is what I have gathered so far. In most regions of Afghanistan, there are criminal gangs and groups who constantly switch sides. These groups often take advantage of unrest and capitalize on volnurable people. It happens all the time and we have witnessed this in the last 40 years in many places.

I believe during the unrest, some people have taken advantage of the situation. This is why some of the people I know who have relatives in Kunduz keep saying the looting and rapes were committed by pro government militia's. People know armed groups and recognize them. If these groups in the past have had dealing with goverrnment elements, people will assume that they respresent the government. This is why some of them are saying the looters are not Taliban.

On the other hand, during the unrest, people not dressed in uniforms and armed with weapons were roaming the streets. Obviously, people will assume that they are Taliban. So those people who insist that the crimes were committed by the Taliban have a valid reason to believe so.

At the end of the day, the problem is not just with the Taliban or the government forces. Looting, rape, banditry etc are all byproducts of civil war. It happens everywhere.

Afghans should stop using these things to score political points against their rivals. We should acknowledge that these byproducts of conflict hurt all sides. And the wise thing to do is, to stop fighting and choose a peaceful path.

But the sad thing is, most people have obtained their jobs by supporting a particular side in this conflict. If the war ends, they are forced to find another job. For most Afghan journalists, politicians and commentators, the war is a way of earning money. They won't give that up just because it conflicts with basic human values.

The problem with Kunduz is that Pashtuns were placed by Abdur Rahman Khan to form a forward operating base for future Pashtun leaders, to facilitate the oppression of northern Afghanistani people. He knew very well it would lead to generation long grudges. But it's only through division and wedge politics that someone can rule Afghanistan which is by its own nature fragmented.

So hordes of Taliban are now Ahmad Shah Abdali's successors for you. Dont put too much faith in them, they are notorious for lack of Pashtunwali, riwaj, ways of Pashtuns. And are also not exactly Salaudin Ayubi's forces. They are intolerant bunch and you are in awe because of their awesome guerrilla war. Taliban is the type who is more brotherly to a fellow Punjabi madrassa student or mulla than to Patloon-wearing western boy like you.

You are saying Pashtuns are the only ones who seek national interest of Afghanistan, rest are diks. You do realize that these non-Pashtun areas in North were "conquered' by Pashtun kings by use of force, they are ethnic minorities in an "Afghan" country. What are Pashtuns doing up north in Kunduz near Tajikistan?, they were settled there by your Kings to make sure that they safe gaurd the "national interests" that is maintaining Afghan occupation of recently conquered territories. Who knows, if Hotaks were still ruling Iran, Iranis would have been calling themselves Afghans.

Of course you are right. But you should not forget how Pashtuns or rather our Iranian speaking race were forced down from all sides in central Asia/Asia etc since 2200 BC by Greek-Macedon fags, Arabs, mix raced Arabs, Mongols, mix raced mongols, Russian Empire, British Empire, Punjabis, Terrorists backed brainwashed Afghans and NATO. Still many pure Pashtuns are fighting today's against mix raced division and foreign powers. The true and Pure Pashtuns kings did a excellent job re-populated our noble lands where our proud and honourable ancestors fought all foreign parasite empires and was pushed down slowly through time and burned cities/villages by the savage invaders. The kings wanted to created buffer zones for the leadership to sustain future attacks, like all states have, but it did not work battling whole western nations puppet armies.

It seems like we need to clear one thing, we have NOT immigrated to PASHTUN SOIL since 52.000 years, OTHERS have come to our LAND and our ancestors were humble enough to let the foreigners stay here. I never want to hear "non pashtun areas again. Everything is PASHTUN land. Those even not in our control today. We will not rest until all is back to us, does not matter how, or when, but Pashtun wrath and justice is immortal.

Source? I doubt Musharaf will say anything like this for couple of reasons, Paki presidents do not talk in ethnic sense like afghani presidents on national issues.

Peaceful path is fantasy. I don't see any way for that to happen. How many Muj commanders signed peace with Najib, how many times did the Muj groups signed peace with each other after the Najib gov collapsed, how many insurgent commanders have signed peace with the current gov. There are so many, you cant even count them.

The Afghan jounalists, politicians, and commentators arent making money from war, they are making money from promoting a foreign aganeda and are being paid by foreigners. If the war stops today with the current afghan gov in place, they would still have jobs because the promotion of the agenda never stops.

In those times it was eat or let us to be eaten like what is happening now. Everyone knows what kind of fascist most persians are. And in those time tajiks and uzbacks commited worser crimes, And they needed to be subdued. Thats just how it goes. And by the way Pashtun never opressed them like Persians did to other minorities in Iran. Persian are only around 40% of the total population and despite that they banned all other languages and relligions and cultures and forced people to speak only farsi.

So please don't make stupid excuses like this.
