The constitution of afghanistan and pakistan are not even enforced. When I go to pakistan, I get harassed by the police on a daily basis. When I am in Afghanistan, I have to watch for criminal gangs who kidnap for ransom and the vast majority of times the police are involved with these gangs. The reason most of us are in the West is because of stability and opportunity that it offers. Its the same West whose intervention and support for dictators has destabilized our indigenous homes.

What a lame excuse. Things are bad in Afghanistan so you justify abandoning it?Originally posted by khushal View PostThe reason most of us are in the West is because of stability and opportunity that it offers.
I would have no problem with your choice of abandoning your watan, but you talk too much about ghairat and Pashto. No awakening of ghairat over the fact that country is calling you back?. You got too much westernized that you find you kalay and watan, an alien and unfamiliar environment?

It is not an excuse. It is fact. Many paksitani's, Afghans, Indians have came to the West for the sole reason of economic stability. I have never claimed I am some great ghyratman, all I do is explain things but I am no great man, I am nobody. But when someone like that Bannu guy saying that pak is some great power defending Afghans when the reality is that the paki elite together with Western corps. are making money off of afghan blood, I will call him on it.Originally posted by History of Pashtuns View PostWhat a lame excuse. Who is calling me back? the US created Afghan gov. That is the source of the problem behind the instability. Why would I support the source of instability. Afghans want to be left alone, my message is to respect that wish.

The watan calls people back today as much as the watan did to people in the 80s, which means it really doesn't at all. The only people who go back from their western incomes and livelihood are the ones who have lucrative jobs or company contracts due to nepotism and/or close contacts with people in power, not by merit.Originally posted by History of Pashtuns View PostWhat a lame excuse. Western Afghans should not feel bad about not dropping all they have worked for in the places they were born or immigrated to as children against their will to move back to the motherland when the leaders of the motherland have bank accounts with millions of dollars and properties abroad as an escape plan. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

If my wife and I can live in Afghanistan and get a job in education or public service, we are willing to go back if we can stay there without fearing persecution and death.Originally posted by randolph85 View PostThe watan calls people back today as much as the watan did to people in the 80s, which means it really doesn't at all. The problem is, you can't go there, stay neutral, avoid taking part in corruption, crime and deception and perform a good social task like educating people or providing other necessary public services.
People are better off living amongst kuffar in the west earning good honest money and performing social tasks without having to deal with crooks.
Besides, while being in the west, we can help people in Afghanistan. We can send books and other types of help. Many Afghans I know of have collected money to build schools, clinics, orphanages etc.Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. Meanwhile, the "real Muslims' of Afghanistan are fleeing their country or murdering eachother.
Anyways, I despise the JI. They are terrorist-enablers who at one point had opposed the creation of Pakistan and called all those who supported the movement kaffirs. If anything, you Afghans who spend most of your time labelling others kaffirs and Hindoos should love them.

They are what can be called Hindu converts now that they are mainstream Pakis. Score one for Pakistan, converting Muslim's to Hindu's.Originally posted by Orakzai View PostMeanwhile, the "real Muslims' of Afghanistan are fleeing their country or murdering eachother.
