This is like an answer to a joke where the question is "what do you get when you take disgruntled ex Indian's, put them in a room and have them come up with a domestic policy?"
      Khang Analysis

*Afghan govt was always hostile toward Pakistan
*TTP created in response to Operation Sunrise
*We can't prevent the third part when being party to WOT

Now look at what Pakistan had accomplished because of Afghanistan?try to look at it from Pakistan perspective

      *Killed pashtunistan movement
*Nuclear weapons development under the disguise of supporting west in Afghanistan
      *billions of aid
*Strategic importance(Now just USA or the west but today even russia is rushing toward Pakistan with the latest development of possible export of Su 35 to Pakistan, just imagine this if pakistan indeed get them)
*In the meantime Pakistan developed its country, military and is on the way to becoming a Trillion dollars GDP PPP by 2016.

You should know that Pakistan was born into war,and war is something Pakistan will always be linked with, war is now something natural to Pakistan. We are now linked to SCO,the emerging eastern axis against western.

Now its upto you,who lost more,Pakistan or Afghanistan? From economic and geopolitical point of view,i would say that Pakistan has gained far more from the war.

I agree with the points, Pakistan was clever to manipulate the Americans, Arabs, Afghans for their own benefit. For example, the Pakis tricked us into waging Jihad against the Soviets and sacrificing 2 million of our countrymen. They nearly made us as their fifth province in the 90s. These days Pakistan fools Ghani with the sham peace talks.
