He didn't stand firm in his non violence philosophy, he supported the Soviet invasion which violently killed 2 million Afghans.
He was only for non violence in KP and pakistan but not in Afghanistan similar to Imran Khan and the rest of those paki sanctioned fake mullahs who preach that jihad is permissible in afghanistan but not in pakistan.
