poor people use their own feet to stand on. security is a problem and security can't be achieved by bringing strangers in to your home and expecting them to keep the peace. strangers who have more personal interests than helping you.

I saw a begger in Peshawar. I told him why are you begging as a profession, he told me oh i am poor and so on. I said look at this poor man, he has arms and legs, he decided to buy some potatoes and oil, he walks on the street selling chips to people. Why doesnt he beg?

So if you are able then why beg? Just because you are poor, means you cant stand up on your feet. No that is negative thinking. I know many stories of poor people becoming billionaires, in UK there are many stories. They stood up for themselves. Not wanting hand outs from people

i have a friend who is often teased because whenever he goes to afghanistan he ends up getting in to fights with the beggars. when a kid offers him to buy something on a roadside he will pay double the price even though he doesn't need it but he wouldn't give money to any of the beggars.

it's haram to collect money in charity if you are capable of earning it and it's wrong to give out money in the form of charity to some one who can earn it. you should train your nafs to only ask you for what you can feed it.

Yea when i see a poor person who is doing some job, i give him more money than a begger. I dont usually give money to a begger because i tell them if i give u this money you have to work.

Like those people who polish shoes, or sell chips or do small jobs for like little money i give them more because im impressed that they work

what is the point of having mineral rich lands if you can't put it to a use while half of the nation is dying from hunger? our leaders are corrupted but such is the nature of politics. we have to learn to stop allowing people to make decisions for us in return for a little chunks of pity or we will be left with nothing pretty soon.
