LOL. Nice try bro. You see, the reality is not about sensing or not sensing its about attempting to re-direct which you wont ever be able to do with me. Ever. Period.

There is a school of thought that Michael Semple wrote of recently in a nice article:

The narrative that Karzai is drawing on is one of Afghan heroic victimhood. According to this telling of recent history, everything that has gone wrong in Afghanistan is a result of self-serving intervention by the U.S. and machinations by Pakistani and Western — notably British — secret intelligence agencies. The narrative claims that the United States intervened in Afghanistan not to remove Al Qaeda from the country but because it wanted a foothold in south-central Asia as part of a larger strategic game. Meanwhile, Pakistan is an older enemy. Its security establishment fears a strong Afghanistan and so they conspire to keep the country unstable, mainly by funding terrorist proxies. Likewise, Britain is a close ally of Pakistan and, in keeping with its heritage as a protagonist in Curzon’s Great Game, is a partner in Pakistan’s destabilization of Afghanistan.
But lets see why they do this? Shall we? Azmal demonstrated this eratic behavior very recently based on marriage ties. He set out to prove that Semple was also somehow, an ISI agent and simultaneously a British MI6 affiliate.

Do you understand how stupid that sounds? How phenomenally, erratically, irrationally, donkey level stupid?

But there is a reason why Big K Hamida Karzai Bibi does this. Lets see why:

However conspiratorial the heroic victimhood narrative might seem, it explains a set of Afghan policy stances, which Karzai and associates have toyed with over the years. By focusing on external causes of conflict, it absolves the Afghan elite of responsibility for reform or addressing human rights abuses. Identifying Pakistan as a key agent of instability drives deep skepticism about the prospects for improving Pak-Afghan relations. It also pushes some Afghan analysts to write off the Taliban as mere foreign proxies, incapable of any autonomous action, who should be dealt with in Pakistan rather than in Afghanistan.
Here lets isolate that single important sentence and re-emphasize:

By focusing on external causes of conflict, it absolves the Afghan elite of responsibility for reform or addressing human rights abuses
Meaning that their epic failures, blunders, mishaps, which are translating into the beginnings of another mass exodus for poor Afghans is to be ignored.

The logic is very similar to when people rightfully criticize the actions of Israel.

The response often is: "You only focus on the bad and don't cite any of the good."

This is an attempt to dilute, divert, or soften the criticism.

Pakistan doesnt matter a lick or a wit in this equation. It is, for all intents and purposes a failed state. The focus will continue to fall on the mistakes, mishaps, and poor leadership of the failed in the West and installed in the East tin pot government - first, second, and third.

The response has been wonderful and the effect has been astounding. The chafing, media response, and subsequent actions of people like Atmar have more than validated this approach and shown its gettings to them.

I like the way this narrative is summerized.

I notice, its a typical nationalist narrative. Always shifting the blame from your own, especially the elites, and putting it entirely on others.

Unfortunately, Afghans have always employed this strategy to deal with their own failures.

            Refugee status in Pashtunabad Quetta

My views on ANP stems from their behavior and rhetoric. Tons of charsadda families that I met in the northeast states who are recent emigres who had affiliation with the party formed my views.

I have not as much to say against the theoretical counterpart (millet) because their members are predominantly Sunni non crypto minority hijackers like Farhat Taj Andersen.

Also millat may be pro Kabul govt to a degree but even they have the ghair to not speak out of both sides of their mouth. ANP pervs were the number 1 cheerleaders to continue the NATO occupation and the Pakistani Army invasion of FATA as well as lie about drone stats.

Also Comrade will attest to the fact that I have been heavy on the likes of Karzai and family members alike (perhaps more then ANP)

It's a stupid strategy since it only satiates the elite themselves. The average Afghan sees no advance from it.

Go back and take 10 min to read the atheist drivel of Soldat Amir, Toramana, baygham, lawanay, lawanaay zalmay and you yourself will start to loath them. They mock Islam, derided the holy personages, said sacrilegious things and acted like drunkard fascists.

                That is ANP

For a good reason. ANP is corrupt as hell. Maybe corrupt warlords are a big thing in Afghanistan, but across the border, we've gotten tired of being their schmucks and kicked them out of the government.

Hate to break it to you, but I'm pretty sure "Pakos" are above honorable Pakhtunwali-following Afghans on the corruption index.

That's another thing about Pakistan. We have a system where these kinda things are pointed out. The government is regularly hounded by the media and the people if it slips up like this. How does it work in Afghanistan? Pretty sure any journalist who even tries to report a financial irregularity will find himself in a private dungeon beaten with sticks.
