  • The Muslim Brotherhood's social outreach after the Egyptian coup

SUMMARY: [B]Since July 3, 2013, Egypt's government has embarked on an extensive campaign
to dismember the Muslim Brotherhood's formidable network of social services. With electoral
participation, civic activism, and social service provision now foreclosed, street activism has
become the lone vehicle for Brotherhood mobilization. This paper uses the lens of the
Brotherhood's schools and medical facilities to show how regime repression and the rise of
alternative models of social service provision are incentivizing the Brotherhood to adopt more
    confrontational methods of opposition..........................

the fruits of secularism and secularists. How the secularists oppress the religious when they come into power. This is a clear example for those who are advocating for secularism day and night.

Well the religious nuts first oppress the secularist ones? Both all intellectual humans and progressive nations knows that Religion should stay outside politics. Religion is one individuals personal faith. It should stay inside the person. It should not dictate over economics, science, race, ethnicity, language, cultural heritage.

This extremist always play the victim cards so well. Just look what talibs mudjahids and IS is doing. And then they ask why secularist want to get relligion and politics seperated. -_-

And even after all this, extremist kill and ban people who think diffrently, the worst that a secularist can do is ban them from political power, to not too force others their views. And they are allowed to do what ever they like. But that is still not enough, not only do they want themself to live in dark ages but also everyone around them. Thats not how societies work.

Why would the secularists try to force their views when they can just imprison and murder those who don't agree with them? To force ones views would be to accept that the people you are forcing views upon will continue living, your secularist pals in Egypt don't bother with that and just murder their opponents.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Brookings Institute is heavily funded by Qataris. The fact that Qataris and MB are quite fond of one another is no secret.

When Brookings institute releases any report about ikhwanis, it usually come with a stong odor of Qatari petrol dollars.

Egyptian secular dictator, Sisi, is Saudi Arabia's main ally in the region. One the one hand, secular degenerates here complain about Arab hegemony, on the other hand the praise and celebrate a secular dictator who is held in power by the same wahhabi salafi Arab shaykhs they despise the most.

Qatar dumped the Ikhwanis when the heat got too hot on them from their fellow GCC degenerates.

The main point of the article is the gov preventing the brotherhood from providing social and welfare services to those in need is forcing people on a violent collision course with the government. The seeds of turmoil is being planted in Egypt.

No. The state should never oppress faith. So I did not mean that my little "60" year old paki friend. English is your official language you should try better to comprehend it paki friend.

Organizations who brainwash and recruite people in those charities must be stoped. You and the rest here all know what is happening in the so called MB charity organizations. Manipulating masses and use them later to undermine the state and stability of nation must be stoped and that is what the goverment of Egypt is doing.

And by the way Egypt current goverment is not secular, Islam is still state relligion and you can not be publicaly atheist. You still only can choose between being muslim christian or jew. So the whole notion of saying that it is secularist that do this is nonsence. Egypt is not a secular state, calling Egypt secular is like calling Iran and Saudi Arabia a true Shariah states.

You fail to learn from history. What the government of Egypt iis doing is following the blueprint on how to destroy their country. This is what your communist heros did to Afghanistan.

Lol undermining the state? Supporters vote them into power, non elected military overthrows gov't, supporters protest and are massacred, imprisoned and oppressed. Yet they are undermining the state? Unless the state is the non elected military and even then where is the undermining? Because they didn't clear the streets? Even the MB government didn't kill their protesters.

And idiots like you act like its Islam or Arab culture that drive these people to violence while you cheer their massacres and wonder why they hate democracy.

My friend, You are arguing with a mental retard that actually accepts, in totality, the Western re-telling of both WWII era and colonial era history.

These sorts of people have some secondary gain involved. They have either family members or some other folks who are benefiting.

As you know it was the same deal with the current conflict. The irony is that these folks call "Islamists" (a term which encompasses anyone who pretty much is against the occupation of Afghanistan) hypocrites, yet the majority of them were using all sorts of made up lies and excuses to run to the West and have benefited monetarily from the war. Not a one of them dared step foot in post Russia war Afghanistan to "help" the motherland. They sure do "help" themselves though, especially in well protected neighborhoods like Wazir Akbar etc.

The reality is obvious. The fall of Morsi began when the military generals and the State Dept began advising the Mubarak era court to halt the progression of the parliament:

The decision by the supreme constitutional court – whose judges were appointed by Mubarak – brought into sharp focus the power struggle between the Muslim Brotherhood and the supreme council of the armed forces (Scaf), the military council that took up the reins of power after Mubarak's fall.
The Brotherhood has now lost its power base in parliament, at the same time as seeing the military-backed candidate, Ahmad Shafiq, the last president to serve under Mubarak, receive a boost.
Supporters of the Brotherhood, liberals and leftwing activists were united in their outrage at what they saw as a carefully engineered move by Scaf to keep a hold on power. It was denounced by senior Brotherhood MP Mohamed el-Beltagy as a "fully fledged coup
What the tree hugger pro gay retards like Wael Ghoneim and Baradei did not see was that a military backed power coup against Morsi would not "save" democracy." And now, Ghoneim is whining like some b-itch as is Baradei, claiming they left Egypt because they refused to get the blood on their hands when the military mowed down the people.

This flat head retard wastes his time spiking his hair, wearing tight pants, and smoking doobies and decided he needs to somehow justify it here.

Glenn Greenwald wrote an amazing article regarding the French, British, and American arming of the Sisi regime:

The Egyptian regime run by the despotic General Abdelfattah al-Sisi is one of the world’s most brutal and repressive. Last year, Human Rights Watch documented that that Egyptian “security forces have carried out mass arrests and torture that harken back to the darkest days of former President Hosni Mubarak’s rule.” Just two months ago, the group warned that the abuses have “escalated,” and that Sisi, “governing by decree in the absence of an elected parliament, ha[s] provided near total impunity for security force abuses and issued a raft of laws that severely curtailed civil and political rights, effectively erasing the human rights gains of the 2011 uprising that ousted the longtime ruler Hosni Mubarak.”
Don't worry too much about these pieces of trash and gutter filth that float around like fat laced stool here. No need to convince them of anything. Muslims don't need weak personalities and jack-as-ses like these who bend over because of secondary gain but pertend that they are somehow "newley enlightened."
