  • Afghan National Army (ANA) Takes a Step Forward with Rule of Law Training

Resolute Support Mission’s Rule of Law, Essential Function Three, in cooperation with the Defense Institute of International Legal Studies, hosted a legal training workshop for ANA and other Afghan ministerial legal professionals.
The workshop, which was attended by 28 attorneys, prosecutors, and investigators, was designed to provide a forum for legal training and discussion among both U.S. and Afghan professionals.
The topics of discussion ranged from observing and respecting human rights and civilian authority, law of armed conflict principles, rules of engagement, investigations, to judicial procedures and independence.
In your opinion, how effective is conducting legal training workshops for Afghan National Security Forces?

    Very respectfully,

14 yrs later and these illiterates still need training on how to enforce their own laws?

The bigger question is have they learned how to do proper jumping jacks yet?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
