Good riddance. We hope others also are sent the way along with sympathizers on this board.

Most of the Taliban supporters on this forum are young north American raised expatriates.

They enjoy economic and political freedom and stability in capitalist and relatively liberal democratic north America, but they would never want to live in Afghanistan especially if the Taliban ever regained power (which they won't so many reasons, but Turkey, Iran, China, Russia, India will all block this).

So why the support for the Taliban?

Afghanistan is a place where they go for holidays and have fond memories of pleasant holidays and they have nostalgia for the idealized idyllic conservative society there and want that to remain static, so they can always go back to such a society and enjoy their holidays. However the other 51 or 52 weeks of the year they will enjoy life in "unIslamic" western "Ferengei" America/Canada.

What these ignorant and selfish people fail to realize is that these people in these eastern societies need to feed their families, they need good health care and apart from meeting basic needs, they also have aspirations for a better life including the modern technology and consumer goods that these western-raised Taliban supporters have. Afghan society cannot remain static but must change.

The Afghan national government and the current Afghan state, though far from perfect, is the only structure or vehicle which is able to facilitate the advancement of the Afghan people.

By the way it's only on this forum, on social media e.g. facebook these dumb north American kids supporting the Taliban would be crucified from an overwhelming number of Afghans who would oppose them and attack them for their support for the Taliban. The urban educated middle to lower-middle class in Afghanistan, the youth are all against the Taliban.

Pashtun forums, primarily an English language forum, is a sanctuary for these ignorant western-kids to glorify their Taliban heroes. Another reason why I dislike them is the same sort of people also respect pro-Pakistan war criminals in Bangladesh, "Jamaat e Islami", just because they carry the Islam tag. Actually when Jamaat e Islami was banned from participating in elections by the courts it was because of a case brought up by the Islamic foundation in Bangladesh...lol.

P.S. None of these Taliban supporters on this forum would give up their comfortable lives in the USA or Holland and go and fight with the "resistance", instead some even go on holidays to Afghanistan and back. If Afghanistan is occupied, like France was in WW2 then surely they should go back and fight "for" their country when needed, rather than enjoy pleasant holidays there.

This is because they are hypocrites and liars.

Bengal_Tiger you also used to cheerlead the Taliban along with your Bangladeshi compatriot.

Anyways I'm actually starting to believe the possibility that Mullah Umar was actually a fictional character used as strawman for Imperial Hegemony.

But in a way this is bad news because Now ISIS is getting more galvanization from all this.

Good tidings! Mullah Omar was not fictional but real as I met and know people who met him personally.
IS is worse as they are pristine Wahabbis , Taliban are at least Hanafi Pashtuns.

Very true. And I totally agree. Barakzai Abdali is a walking talking example of that. His mind can think nothing positive and can let every single Afghan to be sacrificed for his murderous fanatic dream of a Khalafa.

                      1. I don't have a problem with Barakzai Abdali who has always supported my presence here and been very warm and polite to me (so I am in no position to criticize him in any way), but I do know that he doesn't favour some sort of Taliban government but more of a pan-Afghan government comprising all factions ("Islamists", secularists) but which emerges indigenously from the Afghan people themselves, rather than - as some argue - being installed by the Americans.

                      That's a separate debate anyway.

                      2. There is no way that the Taliban supporters here like Unknown Prince, Khushal or ISIS supporter Kais would ever go and live under Taliban or ISIS rule.

                      3. Though I don't like to talk about Afghan affairs too much (I am a foreigner and a guest so there are limits I have to observe), the Taliban are an anti-Bangladeshi organization and have threatened Bangladesh in the past (e.g. their Pakistani wing), so we have legitimate security concerns about the Taliban ever coming in to power and the right to speak out against them and defend ourselves from them.

Anyway there is no way these idiots are ever returning to power.

Turkey cannot militarily directly support Turkic Uighurs in China, but they can easily provide support to Turkic Uzbeks and Turkmens and prevent Taliban capture of Turkic areas.

Iran will not allow the anti-Shia Taliban to take Afghanistan again either.

Nor will China, Russia or India, all of whom see the Taliban as a major security threat.

The thing is about "talibans" is that they name all uprising elements in the country as "talibans" even thou some Pashtuns don't care about porki talibans fighting as mercenaries for the elites of porkis.

There is many pure culture Pashtuns that are fighting for independence and freedom like our ancestors did against all foreign occupations. Some small villigaes, towns etc fight against panjabi porki foreigners and occupation, some heroes fight against traitors and 80-90 foreign countries and their military power in Afghanistan.

Yet these will in the future be victorious because no one not even the angles can make pure heroic Pashtuns kneel.

Pashtuns bows only God, not humans.
To Paradise, with Pakhto, I will go.
