  • Please help flood victims in Pakhtunkhwa

Dear Brothers and Sisters of this forum.

As you know the devastating floods in Khyber Pakhtukhwa have played havoc with the lives of people, I am forwarding the appeal of BKTF for helping the victims as the scale of the devastation is beyond the capacity of any government to come to the rescue of the people.

    Thanks
    Your wroar
    Jan Assakza

    Thank you so much,Jan Assakzai.

It's high time we all should seriously contribute to the relief efforts in our own capacity. Those who could not be there physically, including myself, should contribute by sending some donations. It does not have to be a lot of money/relief items but small things/efforts make a BIG diference, that we sometimes can't even imagine. My heart goes out to victims of this natural calamity. It's too much for the poverty-stricken and traumatized people of our land to bear on their own.

why isn't the Afghan government helping? It has billions of dollars of international aid...at least they can send relief goods, food and other support.

Great idea - if anyone comes across a widget/link any to a reputable charity/assistance programme, then I can publicise it.

Similar to the Just Giving widget I had on my blog last year:

          The real point being??

Ayub Jan, it would be wise to keep your personal politics to one side and spare a bit of thought and compassion.

Why should not we demand OUR money from the Pakistani govt which has usurped our resources and made us a scapegoat in War on terrorism, for which it further received billions of dollars from the mighty West?
You tell them to vanish the Durand Line and then we can receive all aid. Thanks for the timely suggestion.
