  • Hekmatyar’s party to support ISIS in fight against Taliban

Hezb-e-Islami party led by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar announced support to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group affiliates in fight against the Taliban militants.
A statement was released by Hezb-e-Islami and urged the group’s followers to support the ISIS affiliates in the event tensions further escalated between the Taliban militants and affiliates of the ISIS group who were former members of the Taliban group.
The statement also added that the Hezb-e-Islami has an intense enmity with the Taliban group and communists along with Shura-e-Nizar.
No further elaboration was given regarding the communists, however Hezb-e-Islami’s remarks regarding Shura-e-Nizar were apparently a gesture towards the leaders of Jamiat Islami party.
Hezb-e-Islami is leading an anti-government militant group in Afghanistan and has been blacklisted by US Department of State.
The statement by Hezb-e-Islami comes as the Taliban group sent a letter to ISIS leader last month urging the rival jihadist group to stop recruiting in Afghanistan.
Taliban insisted that there is room for only “one flag, one leadership” in their fight to re-establish strict Islamist rule.
The letter was sent following heavy clashes between the Taliban militants and ISIS affiliates in eastern parts of the country, specifically in Nangarhar province.

This ******* still don't gave up the desire to rule kabul alone. he will go any low to gain some support

I can't believe people really think there is such thing as ISIS in Afg. This is nothing more then a ploy played by Ghani for daddy Yankee to stay longer there.

there is everything IS need to grow
            power vacuum
            drug money and illegal mining
ongoing proxy war between pakistan and Afghanistan
natural territory which is hard to penetrate and better suited for smuggling
            ignorance
thousands of hardcore militants whose ultimate goal is to create a shariah state like that of IS
Sipahe Sahaba a punjabi taliban a faction of TTP have proven links with IS, other TTP faction already made allegiance to IS. many Afghan Taliban field commander diverted.
now i don't know your definition of IS presence in Afghanistan.
last month Afghan Taliban sent letter to IS when their militants were beheaded, this give a strong message of IS presence. obviously Taliban would have confirmed their links other wise Afghan Taliban are the types of People who have the mentality of don't care.

Well than why does this dog support them? Why doe so many diffrent sourcess mention IS in Afghanistan?

I think denying the problem will not help. And like others already said, Afghanistan is the best place for people like IS to emerge.

                      Which dog?

Only Ghani was the one who first even brought up the fact that there might be ISIS in Afghanistan somewhere but this ghool can't confirm where. Which sources have confirmed isis inside afg? they all said its a possible breeding ground for ISIS but they haven't confirmed them being there. Only some militants have payed allegiance to them but that doesn't mean they are inside the country as an established group. Taliban won't let them inside an inch into afghanistan. These people are what we like to call "wannabes" and they exist everywhere, a week ago in Canada a man from Winnipeg was alleged of being a member when he was found posting threatening posts on twitter but the police let him go since he had no actual links to isis.

All these mofos want is for people to say they were with them to try to fool people that they are everywhere.

Nice analogy expect that fact that ISIS is not concerned with drug money but rather spreading a khalifa. My definition of ISIS inside Afg is an actual established group with actual ties and not some doofus who has payed 'allegiance" to a terrorist group in a different region claiming to be part of ISIS. Besides, Karzai thinks that ISIS's is quite alien to Afghanistan and they would need actual forigen backing to rise inside Afghanistan.

I'll take the former president's words over yours.

The mentor of Taliban, Hazrat Osama was also a foreigner. Do you think IS will be prrsent the way you say in few months? No slowly and gradually. First allegiance, then actual presence and then total action.
