  • Pakistan wins first JF-17 order at Paris Air Show: PAF

PARIS: After high expectations for a deal to pull through, Pakistan was successful in securing its first ever export order for its JF-17 Thunder fighter on Monday at the first day of the International Paris Air Show.

Air Commodore and Pakistan Air Force officer dealing in sales and marketing, Khalid Mahmood said “A contract has been signed with an Asian country.” However the name of the country was not disclosed and deliveries are likely to begin in 2017.

The report added that 80 people were promoting the JF-17 in Paris this year, reflecting a significant marketing push.

Most likely Sri lanka and the order will be for atleast 20-25 fighters.

Next in line is Nigeria for atleast 40-50 Aircrafts.

I hope the customer is not Bangladesh as Bangladesh Under haseena doesn't represent the people of Bangladesh and is more like a dictator worshipped by the elite class of Bangladesh and supported by India.

Pakistan in the recent past has also exported Trainers aircraft and related weapons to Iraq and mother ME countries.

Pakistan airforce provide training half of the muslim world and beyond and has the distinction of having highest kill ratio against Israel airforce and i don't need to mention the records PAF has over Indian airforce.
