Her movies are all pashtun culture and stuff like swaara, walwar etc so jokes on you, funny afghan is calling paki men misogynist, such irony lolOriginally posted by Khostai View PostShe shows what is their, Pakistan culture is misogynist, claiming to be super power with nuclear wapons when a lot of people live in midievel kind of conditions.
anyways all us Muslim men have a bad rap, so let's not stereotype each other"I bow to no one, except ALLAH. I dont bow to punjabay, do not bow to kabulay and afghanay, do not bow to faujay and mullay, do not bow to asfandyarwalay and petty khanays...i am traitor to all of them." - Smartay

Mr. Jogian you are demonstrating the characteristic Punjabi pathology retorting with emotion instead of reason. The point is, her Pashtun identity is more fundamental than her being a Paki but as one of the least intelligent persons on this board it will be hard for you to grasp this fact.Originally posted by tilla_jogian View PostWhat if she is kammi kameen like you who happen to speak pashto? She is Paki and live in Federal capital. Can't get more paki then that.

The very word multi-cultural-ism that the basis of union is constitution and not any underlying broader common ethnic-cultural foundation. And yes we have some shared cultural facets but the contradictions far outweigh the commonalities.Originally posted by tripledouble View Postwe are multicultural country, with some commonalities, most our languages are part of Indo-European family, almost all Pakistani women wear shalwar kameez with it's own variation; Pukhtun have a bit unique variation but still similar pattern; the balochi dress is very close to shalwar kameez
I am also skip-tic about the commonalities you have listed above, e.g., isn't it that in Punjab and Sindh rural they wear dhothi which in our areas is considered a very inappropriate dress.
And culture is not just dress. There are a lot of other things, e.g., values, mores, etc.
All Pakistani mard wear shalwar kurta, so that is anoher commonality
We don't wear kurta. We use kamis rather. By the way shalwar kurta is used across Wahga as well.
That is stupidity. Soch cannot give birth to nations. Nations evolve from primordial entities called ethnic-cultural groups. There cannot be found any example in history where soch has lead to the birth of a biological nation. They only drew the boundaries, borders always get drawn in history but Pakistan is an idea in Iqbal's word or in Great Imran Khan word, even Hyrbyar marri in interview admitted that pakistan was a "soch" or "nafsiath" but he don't share that idea so that's why he's opposed, so don't take away fact we're an idea, and you can never kill ideas said great Malala
It never existed in history. Punjab-Sindh were part of the Indo-Gangetic plain and its civilization until 1947. Hindustan since pre-history existed as civilizational and political continuity. No amount of denial or mis-representation of facts and misinterpretation of history can erase that reality.yes but proto-pakistan existed, names change but land is the same, we inherit that history of our forefathers, like afghanistan didn't exist as a name thousands of years ago but they inherit the history of proto populations.
Republic of india no exist before '47, it's British india and before british came there was no country or nation call india or "hindustani", hindustani was just regional label foreigners like Arabs and Persians gave and Europeans gave name of India, but were never one unified entity or nation except 3 times in history(maurya, mughal and british rule) but majority of history we were separate,
On the one hand you say it was soch on the other you claim its antiquity.
The point is the identity based on language, culture, ethnic origin, etc. is more permanent unlike the Pakistani identity which derives its legitimacy from constitution not from any other common factor.yeah we have ethnic identity and then national identity which is Pakistani, identities can be multi-tiered
That is again mis-representation. The fact is a Punjabi will feel more comfortable with the brethren across Wahga (even Hindus) because of the common language, food, dress, psyche, values. A Pashtun will feel more comfortable with Kandahari, Kabuli, etc.i'm hindkowan, but doesn't matter, Samar lives in Isloo she is from the urban stock of Pakistan who have come with new production of Pan-Pakistani identity, she have more in common with me and tilla than with some kabuli or qandahari or even kabylie

She is proud pashtun and Paki at the same time. And lucky as well to be born in this side of durrand line. I am not white but I loved slumdog millionaire, like my other non-white friends becuase it show how the 40% of Indian population lives and show some real stuff. And it also showed real emotions and people not some stupid fantasy where people dance and sing around in flower feelds.Originally posted by tilla_jogian View PostIssues exist and highliting them is important, but i get it from where you are coming from. Most of the times "white people" only want to see that part of the world. Thats why white people loved "slumdog millionaire" but will never watch random bollywood movie.
If one reads foreigners blog who visit Pakistan. They will not like Islamabad, instead they like less developed and dirtier city beside ISB which Rawalpindi.
Most people don't like Islamabad becuase ist a real boring city. I heard from a lot of people saing that it has no social structure or old historic town center, just wide "modern" streets where you don't feel comfortable. The same stuff people also say about some cities in Europe who were rebuild after WW2 with all modern buildings. People prefer Amsterdam becuase of it old city center, and that center stinks when its hot outside on a summer day. But still people love it and say its really beautiful, and not only for its weed. The same with London and Paris. Those cities have old centers and history what Islamabad don't have.

What an utter mentally-challenged moron you are. Before vomiting that incomprehensible nonsense just think for a moment if I being a Pashtun am not qualified to speak on behalf of Pashtuns, what justification as an outsider you have to speak for them?Originally posted by tilla_jogian View PostAnd what will you feel among all those people? The more you talk the more you reveal your lunacy. That tripletrouble is better than you. At least he can put 2 and 2 together to make a coherent argument as shown by his reply to me in this thread unlike you like who come with the typical Ranjit Singhi absurdities.

Moron, Paki is an artificial concept whereas being a Pashtun is a naturally evolved identity that will persist whether there is Pakistan or not as it has through the millennia and through all those imperial periods, Mughals, Afghans, Greco-Bactrian, etc., that lasted before Pakistan.Originally posted by tilla_jogian View PostShe is proud pashtun and Paki at the same time. Pirach if pashtun is naturarly evolved indentity then why you are not considered one of them? Pirach will always remain pirach. You should instead look to identify with KPK hinko people who don't care about race when it comes to identity based on language. Learn hinko and become hinko.Originally posted by Toramana View PostMoron, Paki is an artificial concept whereas being a Pashtun is a naturally evolved identity that will persist whether there is Pakistan or not as it has through the millennia and through all those imperial periods, Mughals, Afghans, Greco-Bactrian, etc., that lasted before Pakistan.
