Social media has significantly changed the way people interact and live around the world. Social media has played a positive and significant role in recent incidents in Afghanistan. Social media has been an effective tool for raising awareness in the recent Afghan elections. Social media also played a key role in the arrest of the murderers of an Afghan girl (Farkhunda), who was brutally murdered and later set on fire by angry mob in capital Kabul, not too far from the Presidential palace. Minutes later, the pictures and videos of this barbaric and unforgettable crime surfaced on the internet through traditional and social media. The pictures and videos from social media have helped law enforcement agencies in identifying the perpetrators of this heinous crime.
How do you evaluate the effect of social media?

Never insulted afghans first, it was always in retalition to any afghan who insult me or my country, i was civil with anybody who respect me/my country, otherwise i don't hold back
