Now I know that not every pashto speaker is pashtun, which mean kami kameen people like toramana and syeds etc are just pashto speaking and not necessarly pashtuns. So it gets complicated and for that reason Pak census just stick with language identity.

Here is 1998 census report, Pakistan will have another census next year after long time.

If Pakistan's census is language based on not based on ethnicity, then wouldn't many Pakistanis who aren't of Pashtun descent but speak Pashto as a first language be counted as Pashtuns? I came across many Peshawaris in Pakistan who aren't Pashtun but speak Pashto at home as their first language.

To me, a Pashtun is who's parents both belong to Pashtun tribes and acknowledge each others as Pashtuns. Language isn't a nessicty. The Barakzai dynasty who were persianized to the core only spoke farsi yet considered themselves full pehwar Pashtuns. Not to mention you got people like Hazaras, Tajiks and Balochis living in Pashtun areas that speak Pashto but are not considered Pashtun.

Its up to you and the rest of us Pashtuns. That we teach and educate your future legacy, that they MUST no matter what the cost, restore the balance and purify our Pashtun race to the glory days and take Pashtuns beyond what our ancestors ever have achieved.
