US May Ignite a New ‘Arab Spring’ in Central Asia

The United States will inevitably attempt to install political players under control of the West, destabilizing Central Asia, the newspaper vesti.uz wrote.
The United States may attempt to install pro-Western politicians in the Central Asian states, destabilizing the region, according to vesti.uz.

While the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Uzbek President Islam Karimov are in power, their foreign policy will remain unchanged and the situation in the country will be stable, a number of experts claimed. However, these leaders will have to leave the political stage one day due to various objective factors and Central Asia will then face a number of serious challenges.
According to the Russian political expert, Andrew Kazantsev, the Central Asian republics are currently pursuing a multi-vector policy, distancing themselves from the world's major players and preventing Western powers from expansion of their influence in the region.
But sooner or later, the US will inevitably attempt to install pro-Western politicians, who could destabilize the region, according to vesti.uz.
Presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan, which are set to take place in 2016, may be the next host to a "color revolution". If this were to happen, it could be the spark the region needs to explode into chaos, the director of the Caspian Cooperation Institute Sergei Mikheyev said.
"To wreck one more state, if it would create problems for Russia, fits well into the policy of the West," the expert said.

          - The purpose of the "Arab spring" was to destabilize the Arab world and facilitate the spread of radicalism ("Islamic" fundamentalism) as this keeps the region backwards.

The Americans have partly succeeded as they have destroyed Libya, devastated Syria.

          - The Russians are fully aware that the US plans to destabilize central Asia in the future and use "Islamic" radicalism and also pan-Turkic nationalism (which is why Turkey is so important to the US) to cause problems for Russia and also China.

          Will they succeed?

Well we can't say for certain but simultaneous with this American programme is the wider Sino-Russian geo-political war of "de-dollarization" and creating a post-American global structure. It's happening at a much faster pace now than we might have imagined that by 2016 the world will be a very different place to now.

Even now we have unprecedented events like America's poodle Britain sticking 2 fingers up at America and joining the new Chinese AIIB (their version of the World Bank).

Then lots of other countries following.

So overall I think Russia and China are prepared for this and planning in advance and working together to weaken the USA that ultimately this will fail.

However we will have to wait and see, but on balance I think the American threat will be contained.

This is what I am afraid of. America will use Afghanistan as a launching pad to go ahead with its destabilization project. In that the Taleban and other fanatics are a useful tool. America and some of its allies have no qualm using a most evil influence as long as it serves its interests. It has no qualms as how many of others die.

The foremost task for all the oppressed people around the world that don't have mighty armies, missiles, and bombs to defend themselves is to shield themselves off the American hegemonic, imperial, extremely destructive wars.

All the people of the world have to stand for their dignity and freedom and for a peaceful world and for a world where power is less or more evenly distributed and where one power doesn't dominate others.

Latin American Countries Want to Remove All US Military Bases

Leaders from the United States, Canada and Latin America are gathering April 10-11 at the 7th Summit of the Americas to be held in Panama City, Panama, to talk about a variety of issues affecting the Western Hemisphere, including Cuba’s relationship with the United States as both countries thaw out of a decades-long diplomatic freeze.

Another controversial subject some of the member countries want to take up is asking the US government to close all military bases in Latin America.

"That is something that belongs in the Cold War,” said Colombian former president Ernesto Samper. "This is growing global economy and we have to leave aside all remnants of the past, especially unilateral politics. The bases are no longer relevant and should go."

This isn’t the first time that Latin American leaders have asked the US government to close its military bases in the region, and like previous pronouncements on the subject, it is expected to go nowhere.

The US has several bases scattered throughout Latin America, including in Cuba (Guantánamo Bay), Brazil, Puerto Rico, and Honduras.

Samper and other Latin American leaders also criticized the US for its recent remarks on Venezuela, when the Obama administration declared Venezuela “a security threat.”
"No country has the right to judge another and impose sanctions or punishments unilaterally and on their own," Samper said.

Political observers call the upcoming gathering "historic" because of Cuba’s presence and what that may mean for talks between the United States and Cuba. This is the first time since 1962 that Cuba attends a Summit of the Americas. There is even speculation whether President Obama would shake hands with Cuban leader Raúl Castro (Fidel Castro is not expected to attend) as part of the US continuing efforts to normalize relations between the two countries after more than 50 years.
Thirty-one leaders are expected to attend the summit, including the presidents of the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Cuba and Venezuela.

                Totally agree.

The US has labelled the Taliban as "insurgents" and not terrorists.

Russia, China, India and others want a stable and peaceful Afghanistan, whereas the USA and its puppet the Pakistani military/regime do not.

Ultimately America is getting weaker and weaker month by month, year by year and will ultimately be defeated by the Sino-Russian axis.

Political/Militant "Islam" is one of the biggest tools of the American regime. Even on this forum we have one or two fools (far less than before) who immediately support any group that waves the label of "Islam" blindly and ignorantly following them.

Anyway America is going to pay for its many crimes.

                Karma is heading America's way.

wrong. Pakistan and pakistanis want stability and peace for Afghans, we just do not want them to continue the loy afghanistan agenda, that's it.....we can even leave border open, but no reconquest of pashtunkhwa and balochistan, that's where we draw the line

Also pakistan is big ally of China, so if they want peace in afg we can assure that, also we are now moving in russian direction, so we are going to be a important part of sino-russian alliance. We just need find way to get our dependency off Arab oil money and amerikan hegemony, once we do that, we will be totally different state, much more stable and prosperous which will benefit afghans too...

Maybe liberal Pakistanis or other educated Pakistanis do, but definitely not the military or ISI.

Just as in the same way the US regime, military and CIA are known troublemakers and do not necessarily represent the wishes of average Americans, who on the whole are decent folk who just want a normal world like anyone else, nor do the Pakistani military and ISI represent everyone in Pakistan.

Also Nawaz Sharif and his PML-N turn a blind eye to the Punjabi Taliban in Punjab and in fact patronize them, and other militant groups are patronized by the Pakistani army, the same Pakistan army that "had no idea" where bin Laden was despite him allegedly being killed in a house close to a garrison in the heavily military town of Abbotabad, a town which Smarty knows well as he's lived there.

The Pakistani army uses "Jihadi" groups as a convenient non-state asset to destabilize its enemies and rivals be it in India, Kashmir or Afghanistan.

obl is a sketchy story, i'm also from same city and ask any local, they don't believe official story in mainstream media, i don't care much about that evvent either

as for pak using strategic assets?every country has strategic assets and they destablize other countries to achieve their aims, iran has it,saudi has it,india has it, and afghanistan also have it, so why are we singled out?western media and intellecutals all single us out, when every contry plays dirty and has secret organisations..

                        1. So Pakistan (like other countries) has strategic assets.

                        These assets are radical "Islamists".

The same types who are trying to conquer Afghanistan and are ideologically linked to "Islamist" separatists in China's western region of Xian jiang.

Obviously Afghanistan and China will have issues with this.

                        2. There is a difference between the nation of Pakistan per se and the military/intelligence apparatus that controls it. The latter wish to conflate the two i.e. any rejection of the military is an act of "treachery" and "rejection of "Pakistaniyaat".

This is a tactic to deflect any criticism of them.

They are government-funded body who should be answerable to their masters the people and not vice versa.

The military are just a corrupt group of people (not just in Pakistan) as any other sector of society be they:

                        - Politicians (liars, cheats)
                        - Clerics (hypocrites)
                        - Businessmen (corrupt often linked to crime)

If you think I am singling out the Pakistani military well let me tell you I will also criticize the Turkish military, that also demand reverence from society but were involved in horrific war crimes e.g. in Turkey's south east including the destruction of 3,000 Kurdish villages, torture and murder of thousands.

I have condemned America profusely, criticized Saudi policies too, expressed my disagreement with Russia, and acknowledge that India has a lot of issues too.

Since this is an Pashtun forum the focus is on Pashtuns, who - though you may disagree - are impacted very negatively by the Pakistani military and state. However for the sake of balance I also accept that Pakistan has hosted millions of Afghans the past few decades and is far better than Iran, in its treatment of Afghans, which is very active in portraying itself as an "Islamic state".
