Afghanistan and Pakistan have entered a new phase of economic and security cooperation. Last year Pakistan was the largest trading partner of Afghanistan with bilateral trade of more than two billion USD.
Sharing of intelligence and military cooperation has also improved between the two nations and it is in the best interest of Afghanistan and Pakistan to further improve these relationships. Improved security and economic relationships will ensure a long-lasting security foundation necessary to promote peace and prosperity not only for Afghanistan and Pakistan but for the region.
What are some other venues, Afghanistan and Pakistan can explore to further enhance their relationships?
Very respectfully,
