I don't think our interest aligned with arabs, if you look at Afghanistan history we were mostly excluding arabs and our kings tried hard to stop arabization, this led even to total stop of arabs mullahs coming in to Afghanistan...

There are connection that are unbreakable whether one likes it or not. Iran is a natural rival of Arabs and Pashtuns. Historically this has been the case since both Pashtuns and Arabs have had territorial and ideological wars with Iran for centuries. Therefore Arabs and Pashtuns would have no choice but to be allies in this regard.

One must look at this from an angle that describes what is natural and unnatural. The conflict that we see today is unnatural and is in contradiction. The deposing of Pashtuns in Afghanistan and Sunni Arabs in Iraq by US forces has helped Russia(main rival of the US in the region) increase influence in the region through Iran(whose interests are aligned with Russia.)

i fully agree, persians were our enemies already 2500 years and always tried to invade afghanistan or to corrupt it with their degenerated idelogy. But today they are weak and mostly gay so iran will collapse in the future. I have a bit more symphaty for arabs and levantine arabs are ok but most other arabs are just to rude or arrogant. Arabs have a bit more respect for pashtuns than for other non-arabic muslims but they should stay away from afghanistan and their idelogies also.

What you label as "barbaric" is a reaction from Najib's policies. What do you expect from policies that allowed Russians to kill 2 million Afghans, displace half the population that would permanently gives Pakistan leverage over your people.

Its not about Communism. Its about interests. Russian interests have clashed with Afghan interests long before Marx was born. Russian influence towards the Indian Ocean peaked during the 1980's. The tide has turned and Russia's influence is on the defensive from all sides. China's influence is growing from the East, The "West" is on your doorsteps and basically has taken Ukraine and your puppet dictators are having big problems in the central Asian states.

Gorbechev and Yeltsin did a huge disservice for your people. They should have done what China is doing and slowly introduce reforms. Stability is the Number 1 priority of any leaders in the society. Gorby and Yeltsin did not even learn anything from the Afghan mistake even though they were deeply involved in the "afghan experiment." That introducing reforms too quickly will destroy the society, not progress it.
