Pakistani media reports on Sunday shed light on a high-profile political delegation expected to visit with Afghan officials in Kabul later this week to discuss increased cooperation between the two countries.. According to the reports, political party leaders such as Mawlana Fazel Rahman, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Isfandyar Wali and Afrasyab Khattack will be part of the group.

Pashtun nationalist leaders like Asfandyar, Achakzai, Khattak are most welcomed but leader of Taliban and Islamists Fazool Rehman must be banned completely for life to enter the holy land of Afghanistan.

There are speculation in Afghan circles they are there in Kabul on a consultation mission called by Ghani on the Durand Line. They say Western govt especially USA is involved in the conspiracy of having the Durand Line accepted as permanent border by the Afghans. They say Ghani-Abdullah team has been brought forward to push the Western agenda in the region. That is why Ghani is also talking of extending NATO+US troops withdrawal beyond 2016.

True, Taleban is an issue but it should be solved through the involvement of regional powers like China, India, Russia, and others who are really interested in the stability of the region. The more the present foreign troops stay in Afghanistan the more they harm the Pashtuns.
