The other thread got spammed with insults, so I will state a few other reason in this one.
A country can have bad habits, but in Pakistan's case it is beyond normal. There is a particular bad thing regarding Pakistan, which annoys people who are effected by it, or rather it is killing the people it effects.
Under the soviet war in Afghanistan, the Pakistani government radicalized the Pashtun population both in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Which basically turned Pashtuns into extreme mindless Islamists. Pakistan were quite happy with that, despite it effecting, not only Afghans, but also 30+ million Pashtuns in Pakistan. At least they were, until the war on terror.
You people may wonder why I mention this. Let me explain.
The Pakistani government have been turning its own population into extremist, then later on killed them off, when Pakistan sided with the Americans.
The problem isn't the fact that Pakistan have been hunting Taliban, but rather the fact they were the one who created them in the first place. Now I know this an old story, but hear me out.
What I am complaining about isn't the fact that they are hunting Taliban, nor the fact that they created them. What I am complaining about is the fact that the government isn't taking the responsibility, and the people are simply turning a blind eye to it.
We hear allot of people shouting and insults the Taliban, which is fair and I agree with them, but have anyone ever for a second complained about the Pakistani government who created them in the first place...
Let me give you an example. When a bomb explode and kills many people. Will you blame the bomb, or the person who planted the bomb...
It is the exact same thing. The Pakistani people planted(created) the Taliban, then allied itself with the enemy of Taliban. Obviously the Taliban will explode(fight the Pakistani government), yet you people blame the Taliban, but not the one who created them...
I am in no way saying that the Taliban is good people, or they action is excusable. I am just saying people should realize that the Taliban aren't the only one to blame.
I honestly don't care if one hates Pakistan or not, nor am I suggesting that people should. All I am saying, that people should recognize that Pakistani government have been involved in indirectly killing thousands of their own people, and have effected millions.
Whether you like Pakistan or not, is solely up to you, but recognizing the Pakistani governments involvment in the killings is important regardless of your political position toward Pakistan. One need to make the government recognize their involvement, and make the people aware of it, so it can be avoided next time.
