  • Afghanistan's national hero,

The Digital Engagement Team, at U.S Centcom would like to extend its deepest sympathy on the occasion of Ahmad Shah Massoud’s 13th death anniversary to Afghan people. Massoud and his legacy continue to captivate Afghan people today. He is remembered as a “National Hero” because of his warmth, devotion and his intense commitment to Afghanistan and its Nobel people.
The death anniversary of Ahmad Shah Masoud’s anniversary once again reminds us of the danger of terrorism being a common enemy of peace, stability and humanity. The terrorists have spread their network throughout the world. We all must work together to negate the threat of terrorism, not just from Afghanistan, but from around the world.
    Respectfully,
    Hashmat

America is making (or has already) similar mistake that they have done in Iraq. I think in case of Afghanistan it is more severe.. They have undermined the Majority Pashtuns when we know that they make a majority in badghais and south and Kabul and south of Kabul (Including Kunduz). Pashtuns are left with no viable political choice but Taliban.. Yet Pashtuns are much more in number (around 50 million on both sides of the border) and more martial.. so if America doesn't get their act together.. as soon as americans leave you will see Pashtuns going after non-Pashtuns, as Pashtuns represents at least 65% of the land mass of Afghanistan... Islamists would bank on this flaw in the policy.. just like they did in Iraq..
Yes I agree that terrorism is everyones problems... but alienation and injustice would further fuel that fire..
