Niazis are cousins of Suris and were main supporters of Sher Shah among Afghan tribes. The most notable Niazi noble who supported Sher Shah Suri was Isa khan Niazi. Another important chief of Niazis who served Sher Shah was Haibat khan Niazi who conquered Punjab, multan and Sindh for delhi. Afghanistan only has a 90 year history, you're not much older.... unless you want to claim Turko-Persian civilization and achievements.

The Present day Afghanistan is combination of historical khorasan, turkestan , kabulistan and Afghanistan/pashtunistan.

Sher Shah was our hero and emperor. His eastern Hindustan drew it's strength from modern BD, W Bengal and Bihar. But as you know he had taken Delhi but didn't survive long to consolidate.
