Thanks a lot and Eid greetings too.

I have no problem with Eid as it is an occasion of happiness but I was thinking on this day that Arab culture in the garb of religion destroyed local cultures and festivals. Even extremists oppose nawroz, pagan and other celebrations based on local traditions and historic or seasonal backgrounds. Arabs and Mullahs permit only two Eids in a year and all other celebrations are strictly forbidden.

Even Eid in Pashtun villages and cities is like a dead day. In mosque the Mullah now prohibits embracing and Eid greetings. They say it is Bida'(innovation). Just prayers, meals and that is all.

Previously there used to be fairs and merrymaking on Eid day but now nothing. Eid is finished in few hours. Mullahs are against every thing which give joy like dance, music, art, culture and celebrations.
