After a tough fight and some very heated and intense argumentation, I think let us get along no matter which ideology do we pursue for avoiding further destablization, conflict, and social, political, and economic disintegration and disruption of our societies.
I respect the Islam of the common folk who want to have a fuller life as well as some spiritual satisfaction in life (who make up 99.9% of Muslims) which is an organic, dynamic, evolving, mutable concept and is not associated with any kind of vested interest.
I don't subscribe to the form of Islam that is sectarian or discriminates or "otherizes" on the basis of religion or stagnates intellectually and culturally. I am for the kind of religious ideology that allows dynamism and regeneration of thoughts.
I am a secularist of my own brand neither subscribing to the east nor the west nor the middle east.
