I find it very suspcious that the so-called General started her career at the height of the Communist time....very strange.
Why is that not mentioned anywhere by those who conducted and promoted this interview to showcase her as a triumph of secularist achievements apparently ?
In short how did she rise so high and what are her ideas? We never are given a clue of that.

she is the only one true general in the present afghan national army who had formal training. now we have generals who have no education or professional traing at all. Like general Dostum was picked up by dr.najib from the street who have no primary school education, Marshal fahim our voice president was trained by ISI. she is a brave women with no blood on her hands.

Regarding what "afghan" wrote that she has no blood on her hands: do we know that for sure?
What has she been doing all these years then ?
The interview is too short to get a glimpse of her entire career.
I'll grant you she had training. But from whom?
The GRU - Soviet military intelligence ?!
Some advanced courses by Spetsnaz officers ?
Or plain old Red Army advisers?
She didn't go to Frunze for example apparently.
                          Do we know this though?
I recommend taking a good look at her career before we can make any assessments.

What Zarawar said is the summation of it, regardless.
One could say she is a "poster General" for "democracy".
I put democracy in quotes because I dislike to see how it is slickly exported to force the other countries into following this unsuccessful model of governing peoples.

There must be more information on this General. Any articles in the Afghan press from which some more details could be gleaned to analyze what the real story is about her?

I may be wrong but I bet this clip would have been longer and more detailed had there been useful things to tell. Had she been a protege of the Soviet military machine, that would likely have been suppessed or glossed over. So what are we not being told here?

during the war female afghan army was not allowed to participate.
not much available on her at the moment.
