I see the world and its nations through different eyes than most. I have set nations in levels depending on their system. (I am not talking about socialism, capitalism etc)
first level.
- Tribalism or other similar groups.
Basically the unity isn't broader than their tribal/family
second level
- nationalism or other similar groups.
Basically the unity isn't broader than countries, ethnicities etc.
third level
- united states or other similar groups
Basically the unity is based on at-least 2 countries/stats in a union(USA, EU). Can also be a widespread religious union(Islamic caliphate). Even an ideological union can be considered(soviet union).
fourth level
- a world scale union.
Afghanistan and Pakistan in my eyes are both in second level. As we see the world progress, only the strongest will have any say in matters. The people who are most united, have the most power. If Europe as an example was united, it would both economically and military surpass even USA. The same goes for any other location, Arabs comes in mind. Imagine if all Arabic countries were united, how big of economy and military would they have. Even more importantly, imagine how big of an impact they would have in world scale politics.
Now my proposal is, what if Afghanistan and Pakistan formed an union(a south Asian union). Before people misunderstand; I am not proposing to merge the countries, but rather a simply union between these countries(similar to EU).
No matter how you turn things up and down, we as individual states have no say in politics that concerns the world. Essentially our influence is limited to our surrounding areas.
Our unity will first of all bring peace to the region. The more sweet bonuses a union brings includes but not limited to:
- Better economy
- Stronger cultural development
- Better educational basis
- Bigger say in politics
- Unity between different groups
- Easier trade
- Most importantly, peace!
And many more.
Note, we will still be separate countries, with separate rule and laws.
You're welcome to agree/disagree, but please refrain from using curse words or insults of any sorts. Stay civilized and don't use this thread as an excuse to insult others regardless of ethnicity, nationality, religion, political cause etc.
