Unconfirmed reports suggest that the US Secretary of State John Kerry has suggested change in Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai’s team in a bid to end the election crisis.
The suggestions were reportedly made during the last day of Kerry’s meeting with the presidential candidates.
Kerry has suggested to replace Ahmad Zia Massoud as Chief Executive by Younus Qanooni in Dr. Ghani’s team, a source close to Ahmad Zia Massoud has revealed.
The source further added that the suggestion by John Kerry was rejected by Ahmad Zia Massoud.
The electoral team of Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai has not commented regarding the report so far.
Kerry arrived in Afghanistan on Friday to help resolve the political impasse due to the runoff presidential election.
He met with the two presidential candidates, electoral officials, UN officials and president Hamid Karzai during his visit to Afghanistan.
He is expected to appear in a press conference following his meeting with the presidential candidates on Saturday evening.

That is a horrible picture... why post the article when the picture speaks elaborately in itself.
