  • Kabul Suicide Bombing,

    Dear readers,

Once again the Taliban showed their cowardly and inhuman act against Afghans in today’s suicide attack, in Kabul. As a result of this heinous suicide bombing, eight Afghan Air Force personnel lost their lives and 13 others wounded on their way to work.
Zabiullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Taliban group claimed responsibility behind the attack and said a mini bus of the Afghan soldiers was targeted in Wednesday’s suicide attack.
We send our condolences to the friends and family of those killed at this difficult time, and we pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.
What is your opinion on this cowardly and heinous act of the Taliban in this holy month of Ramadan?

    Respectfully,

    Hashmat

I am really surprised to see that Pashtuns do not condemn such attacks openly. Even in social media and such forums we do not come forward and condemn such heinous crimes against humanity.

Why are we so much senseless that not a single one condemned and spoke against such barbarous acts of Taliban. We see thousands of comments against Pakistani army killing terrorists or against Afghan government or Centcom or NATO struggling and eliminating the menace of Taliban but when Taliban perpetrate such cowardly and cruel acts , we do not condemn them.

Are Pashtuns as a whole partners of Taliban and terrorists, this is why we do not criticize them?

Why don't Tajiks, Uzbek and Hazara condemn these attacks? They don't even condemn them in social media. Are these farsiwans as whole partners of Taliban, since they do not condemn them. Maybe they have gone in hidden partnership with them to kill of Pashtuns, who knows...
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

As far as my real life experiences tell me, I see all these non Pashtuns not only condemn such acts but also campaign against it. On social media I do not know many but every educated and sensible person must condemn such acts of these marauding hordes.

Non Pashtuns except few Uzbeks,Arab Alqaeda in Middle east and Africa are usually never part of terrorists. This is the curse of we Pashtuns which make more than 90% of terrorists especially in our part of the world.

Our issue is that we condemn all anti terrorists forces but never the terrorists themselves.

Do you have a statistic regarding that? If not, then I suggest you drop your postulate.

There is insurgency in Tajikistan, there is insurgency in Uzbekistan, Punjab got Punjabi Taliban. The difference between them and Pashtun Taliban is, that under Soviet invasion Pashtun extremist got produced to counter the soviets (by USA and Paskistan, which you call ''anti terrorist forces''). And even these Taliban forces would have been non-existent if Afghanistan and Pakistan didn't marginalize Pashtun to such a extreme extent. So this isn't a particular phenomenon that is haunting Pashtuns only. Pashtuns are simply victims of circumstances.
