Afghanistan weighing military response to Pakistan attacks

    By Ghanizada - Mon Jun 23 2014, 10:22 pm

The ministry of foreign affairs of Afghanistan said Monday that the government of Afghanistan is weighing military response to Pakistani forces cross-border incursions.
Foreign ministry spokesman, Ahmad Shekib Mostaghni told reporters that the national security council of Afghanistan will instruct the Afghan security forces to thwart the Pakistani forces attacks.
Mostaghni further added that actions will be taken in appropriate time to respond to the violations by Pakistani.
He said the government is weighing military response to cross-border incursions and attacks on Afghan national army check posts in bordering regions.
This comes as the foreign ministry and Afghan defense minister Bismillah Mohammadi said Pakistani forces have launched attacks on Afghan army check posts by disguising themselves in civilians clothes.
Foreign ministry said Monday that three Afghan soldiers and eight civilians were killed in the latest cross-border incursions by Pakistani forces.
Mostagni said the security institutions of Afghanistan have documents and evidences which proves that the attacks on Afghan army and police check posts have been carried out by Pakistani military forces.
